If someone isn't a morning person, perhaps later in the day would actually be a better time for them to spend with the Lord. It's wrong to try to force everyone into the same pattern just because that's what works well for you. It's even worse to pressure people to fit into your mold by misusing scripture to do so ("firstfruits").

Thank you for your very realistic message. I have animosity in my heart towards certain friends and family that did not support me, when one of my younger brothers passed. I know that is not of God. But I cannot heal my heart on my own. Please Pray for me.

I have been helped by understanding that forgiveness doesn't mean that what the transgressor did was okay, or that I was wrong in feeling hurt. It means that the person who sinned against me doesn't owe me anything, because I have given their sin debt over to the Lord to handle. It is between the transgressor and God. The Lord will see what the transgressor has done to me and will take the necessary steps to deal with it in that person's soul. It ceases to be my spiritual concern. I can live my life without carrying the weight of someone else's sin. That DOESN'T mean I must reconcile with them or be vulnerable to them or that I can't pursue legal action against them. Sin has consequences, and if I enable someone to sin or fail to stop them when it is in my power to do so, I am preventing the transgressor from learning an important lesson. Whether they choose to learn that lesson or not is between them and God. I can't control the transgressor, but I can control my reaction to them, and I can trust God that His will be done.

Thank you for sharing. I'm so sorry about your younger brother passing away. That must be very hard. Surrender all of your animosity and hurt and grief to God, and ask Him to help you forgive and heal. He has compassion for you and He will help you. I will pray for you!

You are so beautiful. I can absolutely feel the Holy Spirit through you. The verse: 2 Corinth. 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” Saved me. I could have never left a life of sin and idolatry with alcohol/drug addiction if it weren’t for me laying it all down at the feet of Jesus who knew we’d need someone to carry the burdens of this broken world. My dream is to own a ranch one day where kids can go and be connected to nature. I want them to know what it’s like to just dig in the dirt or make sand castle moats all day or go collect flowers/leafs. Life is moving way too fast and I can feel the slow work that God led you through. I know his ways are perfect and I pray each day I can just grow closer to God who is and always will be my first love. Thank you for your wisdom and vulnerability. We can’t do it on our own and I pray God sends you the warmest people to cherish everyday with.

Hi, my name is Amy,and Ive been suffering for years with really bad depression and anxiety, I’m struggling with low self esteem and learning to love myself, I’m angry,and I have no motivation to do anything in my life I don’t have any peace in my life I struggle daily and I do belive in God but I’ve not had a relationship with him for years now!!! I don’t think I’m worthy for him to love me!! I want to get right with God but it’s all so overwhelming and I don’t really know where or how to start I don’t even know if I’m saved and here lately I’ve been very fearful of dying and stuff because I’m not right with God and I fear I’ll go to hell.

@@amyshue4381 Amy, you can just pour your heart out to God and tell Him ALL of that. He wants us to come to Him humbly and be honest. He knows all about it any way and He loves you right as you are and will meet you right there. We have to take the step of bowing down and in a posture of humility, surrendering it all to Him, and spend time in the Psalms if you need a place to start. Psalm 145 is wonderful. Saying a prayer for you now.

Thankyou! I agree totally. And its not law or rules - its LIFE and it works. 👍 Also re praise....He inhabits or is enthroned on our Praises. Psalm 22 That's His Presence. 🕊 And Psalm 8 - Praise stills or shuts up the enemy! Wow. Then we can sense, hear His voice more and more. Eph. 5 and Phil chapters 3 and 4 on power of Praise. It's the power and atmosphere of Heaven and we can have more of Heaven in our hearts - where we need it. 💚

Hello! I'm a French guy. From my point of view, if you're a Christian, the Lord lives in you. Therefore, you don't need to be closer to Him and you cannot be closer to Him. Since He's already 24/7 in you and with you. He never abandons you. Even if you sin. From my point of view, the fellowship cannot be broken.

Thing is knowing God is a relationship with Jesus Christ and He is with us each step of our journey, as with most valuable relationships time spent together, our love deepens, we have an ongoing understanding. Yes we do need to grow closer, He is unfathomable, each moment is an opportunity to know Him more…..our life’s journey. Never let your love grow cold.

Hi Nicolas, as in any close relationship, there is a part we play. He deserves our adoration and pursuit, and we need to show that we love Him and want to be with Him, to worship Him, to seek Him, to be transformed, renewed, changed. Any distance we feel is on our end. We get to seek Him, and enjoy Him (and we often do not) as it says in Matthew 6:33 and Psalm 16

Good thing that in Christ I am as close as I ever can be ... if you are developing a plan to get clloser ... it really is futile. Unless you dont believe or understand your position in Christ. Once you find Him you dont lose Him do you? Once He lives in you does He leave you for awhile?

Oh how I disagree! There is a part we play in the relationship, and doing nothing to cultivate that relationship, to show that we love Him and want to be with Him, to worship Him, to seek Him, to be transformed, renewed, changed...the distance we feel is on our end, so we need to seek Him, as it says in Matthew 6:33.

God is a loving Shepherd and He sees you and has compassion for you. Read the Psalms and be encouraged. Can I encourage you to read Psalm 25, 86 and 145 (whole chapters)? Pour out your heart to God and He will give you peace.

Why can't they that Follow Jesus believe & know all sin is forgiven by God If you repented and turned away from specific SIN. Why then are sins held against you by "believers" they condemn and remind and blackmail & destroy .And they hold up our sin to justify their Attack.Jesus VS I'm a Christian.Sad in my case those who profess are happy to forgive with certain clauses.

Hi David. I'm sorry you're struggling. Without knowing details, it's hard for me to say. If you have hurt someone, I think we do have a hard time forgiving each other. And that's why we often need God's help to forgive as He commanded us. If someone is holding your sin against you and you have truly repented and changed, ask God to help you forgive that person and move on. We grow bitter when we don't forgive others. Surrendering these challenges to God is so helpful when you're struggling!

You can be honest with God about that. Ask Him to help you understand as you read His word, and to reveal Himself to you. He can handle your questions. Start with the book of Matthew and get to know Jesus. Praying for you!
