It's okay to have a desire to get married and pray for your future spouse as long as you don't put it above Him. Be the right person rather than finding the right person. Our ultimate, unshakeable fulfillment will only be found in our relationship with Christ, whether we are single or married. He must be the center of our lives. Our life is not our own, but His.

These things are accurate and I can attest to that 100%. Please everyone wait for the person who is as invested as you are, who you feel deeply at peace with, who is spiritually aligned with you (you’ll feel a deep spiritual connection with them). This person does exist. I longed for them since I was a teen, fell for random guys so many times and tried to make it work without God, got my heart broken over and over, eventually completely let go, was happy and absolutely focused on God. Eventually he sent me the right person (to my door!! A friend brought him along for Bible studies) and everything was and is as explained in this video. It was clear.

guard your eyes.. I had a feelings for a guy who I was quite sure that wasn't right for me. When I was convicted and decided to really let go of my feelings, one thing I did is to avoid looking at him, I found him very attractive physically so not seeing him helped me to dettach my feelings for him.. it took almost a year before I confirmed that my feelings, my longings for him is gone. He isn't that attractive anymore in my eyes, I am not inlove with him anymore, I had moved on.

It’s harder than it seems. Knowing if that person is the one takes time. It’s easy to take signs or seeing ducks in the row and interpreting as God speaking. Sometimes our own imagination, the enemy, and natural circumstances can lead us astray. Only time tells and allow God to lead and we go with the flow.

We only see each other once every two weeks because he won't get his butt out of bed to be able to see each other on our days off. I'm done putting in so much effort.
