Thanks for this ...gives me lots of ideas. Although I've often heard that playing the melody is a good alternative, my worship pastor specifically asked that I not play The Melody since he feels it conflicts with the vocals.... The way we're creating these parts at home for a virtual worship service that will be on KZbin, I'll probably lay down the main audio video track doing mostly pad like sounds (which was a request) and then a couple of extra guitar parts with other bits. it's an interesting opportunity that you definitely can't do live

Hey Troy, do you change pedalboard setups every week depending on what the setlist looks like that Sunday, or do you just stick with the Kemper switch and the other pedals all the time.

Grant, I stick with the Kemper hybrid rig as you see it. So far, it's the one that offers the best fast switching of sounds and the hint of flexibility that I like to have.

Have you ever listed your signal chain for OD's? I have a similar setup currently but am looking at slimming down to KOT and double barrel. Not sure which would traditionally go first.

I have. Check out the video titled "The Overdrives I'm Using // 2018." Generally speaking, I like to put any overdrives that are doing level lifting, boosting or signal clarification (upper mid or treble boost), toward the end of the chain.

Guitar for HIS Glory, like the worship music being to loud. The reason i ask is.. In my church there is like 5% of people that think the music we play for worship is way too loud. So every Sunday when i play guitar, i can not focus on worship. All I think about is volume. The reason we cant just turn down the master volume on the mixer is because then the drums will be too loud (there is no drum room/cage). And the drummer has a hard time playing lightly for all songs. So I was just asking for advice. Hopefully I explained well :) Do you have an e-mail by the way? I dont think its wise for me to keep this comment up....
