I prefer to follow carve up with ruinous scythe instead of vigor as it still keeps me alive plus does damage, plus applies off balance.

I find Carve and Scythe redundant... almost the same exact move with slight difference- heals vs shield. You don't need heals if you keep your shield up.

I'm trying to understand. Is Ruinous Scythe with a Necro really that much better than Puncturing Sweeps with a Magplar? Looking at ESO Hub Ruinous Scythe does much less damage than Sweeps does even after the Templar ability was nerfed. But the Scythe does return more health based on the numbers there... But the Scythe HP return is based on health while the Magplar heals more by increasing DPS. But the Necro doesn't really have good self heals other than the Scythe from what I see. While the Templar is one of the best healing classes in the game. So they can be less reliant on the spammable heal. Is the big difference the other supporting skills? Blastbones and Siphon doing more damage than the Magplar supporting skills? You lose out on the defensive bonuses of the Magplar for instance the damage reduction from using Spear abilities and if you're a High Elf their protection while channeling.

What I appreciate the most is that you seem to understand not everyone had Mythics or can do or has done Trials personally I’ve never done a trial my assumption is that I die tanking some DLC vet dungeons so I should stay away from trials and I don’t own High isle so I don’t have the one bar ring and alot of peoples builds are gears towards it. Almost exactly like my build! The one change is instead of running vicious I run perf Sul'Xans. So rare in solo content that you don't have at least 1 add that you can swat and get super-charge buffed from every 30 sec.

I tried throwing blast ones first before 2h combo but the class does so much damage as it is I just return to backbar after the pack. Don't have the guild skills yet so I'm just running blade vortex and the duel weild dot instead

I would really like a Necro vampire hybrid tank for pve, I'm currently playing with my gf she is playing a dark elf Stam night blade for dps but I would like some gear and a new way to implement vampire skills or stages I want to be surviving but I also want to do decent damage I know vampire kinda sucks these days in pve I'm not looking to necessarily mid/max but I would like a shadow/death knight esk theme. Is a magcro vampire a viable tank i just want to be functional but fun

I love plaguebreak with asureblight to make a plague bomb build its annoying to fight if i hit you you can proc both and of you clense you explode and dot everyone if you dont it adds stacks to asureblight bigget boom hahahahahah

Well, everything outside of PVP is 'PVE'... player versus environment. Open world is PVE... delves are PVE... public dungeons are PVE. Pretty much everything you do solo is PVE other than if you fight against other players. PVE doesn't mean 'group'.

@@ADarklore I don't think he means that. I am a PvP player so most my builds are geared towards that. When I have to do some hard PvE content to unlock something for PvP I struggle with it because I don't have good builds for it. This build video helped me do Vateshan today.

People who play bomb cro are bad a necro tbh. Here's a "brawler build" essence thief, wretched vitality, sea serpents coil, and slimcraw (for the minor brutality )duel wielding (for exicute and more dmg) maces with sharpen and nirn on mainhand. Jewelry should be two harmony one swift. All spell damage enchants. Mundus stone should be spell recovery. Or spell dmg depending on your playstyle. Run race against time on your back bar to proc wretched vitality. I use a resto staff with defending on the back bar. For the cp points the important ones are slippery and cilarity from the red tree and occult overload from the blue tree. That's more or less what I run with this patch and it works very well. You get 10% more dmg from essence thief, major brutality from coil and minor brutality from slimcraw. Plus coil give you extra 430 dmg and your weapon enchants give you an extra 300 dmg.

My first toon was breton necro. This is my first mmo. All fps prior.. wasn't to fond of magcro for solo because enemies tend to rush in. So stamcro. Loved the stampede. Dueling was no fun against my friend who's has stamblade or sorcery. Trying to chase him down. But everyone told me the. BUild was f×××ed. I'm going back to my old build. Tysm

Won't lie I've been so bummed about playing my necro. I war running him as a oakensoul bow build in pvp and found stalking blastbones as a way to help resources. Going to play around with this stuff now see if I can have fun with him again. Thanks.

This is a cool build thank you! I'm working on a necromancer build myself that I think people will really enjoy if I ever get the resources to put it together LOL but all that aside I had a question. I know it adds a bit of complication but wouldn't it make a lot of sense to Bar Swap and cast blast bones right before you swap over and do your meteor and start the rest? The timing should work out pretty well, if you time it perfectly your Boneyard will be buffed right away or you could even get the siphon going right away depending on what you wanted to do, and it's kind of just free damage at the start of combat that it seems like is missing from the rotation. It's your build and I understand if you're trying to make it a little bit easier but I was just curious what your thought process was on that, thanks!

I'm glad to see this because I've been planning a Necro as my second main character since starting this game. Been planning on development it after getting my Warden up. I'm glad to see you saying the Scythe ability is good. I've never seen it used on any guide due to its low damage. Is the Stam version better than the Mag version? I figured I'd use the Magicka one due to the additional HoT. I didn't see any use for the Off Balance... But I just learned from this video about the resource return so I can see that actually being useful.

Pretty similar to my stamcrow although I'm bow/bow. I love it as an alternate to my magplar. I may have to adjust it a bit and use DW on front bar. That seems like it does a little better than bow.

nice setup for stamcro :) i recently switched from magcro and your vid helped me out alot, stil getting used to this hybrid meta 😀 one small correction on what you said about blastbones, the magica morph only does more dmg when chasing the target. so the target has to be running away from you, when the target stays within range (28 meters) the blastbones just leaps towards it and this doesn't count as chasing i would still use it but only for better stamina sustain :)

I switched to Stamcro from Magplar because of the massive nerfs. However, one thing I always find about these builds is they tend to be 'bis' or designed to be high damage... not necessarily "fun" to play. I find myself always having to change these builds (and no offense to Deltia because clearly people want high damage builds), because many of them just are not 'fun' to play. Take this build... I find having Carve and Scythe redundant. With a very similar cleave animation- but one does shield the other heal... boring. If you keep your shield up, you don't need to worry about healing. So in open world, delves, easier stuff... I just run Scythe because it's got a more 'necro-centric' animation. In more difficult content- world bosses/public dungeons solo- I run Brawler instead for the survivability. I can then slot other skills, like Rally, that heal AND give Major Brutality. For me, the game is about what's fun and what isn't. I've been playing ESO since 2015 off and on... and when you play for 12-hours+ a day on days off... it's easy to get bored with the same skills over and over. Hence the need IMO, to find skills that are fun to play versus shaving 5 minutes off my run.

as i am sitting here listening to you talk about how one class got nerfed caked and another class is now talking the place of.. i watch you play that toon and all i keep thinking to my self if This game is done.. They pulled a full starwars galixies on this last patch.. They claimed one thing and totally did the opposite. The plan was a fix to combat. To make it more intuitive and fun and more "balanced" But they have not even achieved even a slight chance of it.. at all.. I just don't get it. is it inept? is it on purpose to piss of players ? i don't know To me the game prepatch 35 was clunky the Tick rate to server was Horrible, The builds were ok but always some kind of hybrid to do any good.. I have played through the Story a few times I think at this point I am done being patience with this DEV crew.. If you guys want to keep on and dealing with it good on you i just don't think i can any more Thanks for all the builds over the years and the many hrs you put in to the content for this game.
