Yeah, my loctician says faux locs are horrible for locs. She had a client that she was bleaching her hair and she noticed these black pieces thst wouldn’t take the bleach and she couldn’t figure out why. Her client revealed that she had faux locs several months back and there was faux hair stuck in her locs.

the same thing happened to me. I only noticed the black pieces wrapped around my locs after I dyed it. never doing faux locs again
