1. Crystal Chamber is one of the later bosses that required complex mechanics to beat instead of brute the hell out of the healthbars. There's a phase 2 of the boss where it came out of its crystal shell, but it's not included in the video. 2. Every Ruptures (and also Nikke) have elements in its core (The codes are like the name of Greek gods; H.S.T.A - Hestia - Fire, P.S.D.N - Poseidon - Water, Z.E.U.S - Electric, D.M.T.R - Demeter - Earth, A.N.M.I - Anemoi - Wind, those types weak to the latter). At first the Land Eater we faced in the main story is the water code one, but the new one is the fire code we had to fight in the Solo Raid content. That made us players think there would be another remix boss songs in the future if they put the boss with new code in the future Solo Raid. 3. Mirror Container is the boss of chapter 32, the latest chapter up to now (we will have 2nd anniversary soon and Shift Up will announce 2 new chapters in the anni patch). The boss is the hardest one to fight in terms of mechanics and minimum damage required to penetrate its defense. As everyone said, Nikke lures us in with booba and booty but had us taste the despair and depressing story. It is worth a try because this game is one of the most generous with a gacha rate. You can look for a video of how or why Nikke is success before considering to play the game or not (and also a new video to react to though).

I immediately redeem the golden ticket for Cinder as I wanted to instant gearing up and using her in the chapter 33-34. Then I pulled for another 200, got another 2 but no sign of her last one to break the limit or another pilgrims (got like 8 other SSR though). Now I did the same with Grave, don't bother to pull her and investing all my gems for Cinder. Compared to another gacha games, I guarantee that Nikke is a lot more generous. Especially with a new players where every SSRs count. We the endgame players are more focused onto the new pilgrims so other SSRs are not that precious for us that much.

@@motafu1 if you have dorothy and/or lyudmilla it would be easier to kill the wave boss spawn. else is dps check (redhood/alice/maxwell perform best there). edit: try destroys the part ASAP, it takes lot of boss hp each.

I know that some people are deterred by sexual fanservice in general, but believe me when I say this that Nikke is one of those games that has the perfect balance of amazing fanservice and amazing story, supported by simple gameplay, stellar music, and devs that cares about the fanbase. To me, Nikke is about being honest with yourself with what you enjoy, but if you value more on story rather than one of its main attractions, the writers provides and they hit hard when they need to. Unless you have FOMO on story, there is an Archive list that is updated per patch where you can replay all of the previous events with the exception of collab events. Then there are character skins and limited-nikkes, but that is pretty much it, everything else is free to consume.

Absolutely, the only time I get to enjoy fanservice is in the lobby and character profiles, when I'm playing I have to LOCK IN mega hard or else they destroy me. Thankfully I already did all chapters (except hard mode) so I'm way more relaxed now but until that happened I was sweating on those last levels.

You should definitely give Nikke a try Georgiee! I know the character designs are uh... shameless... but they definitely frontload the fan servicey bits around the beginning. If you can get past the start they change the tone heavily into a character and story driven game. (The "physics" don't go away but you can reduce it in settings lol) I believe it will be their anniversary soon so it's a good time to start!

Nikke's gameplay is surprisingly addictive and it tends to get really intense on later stages, you won't even have time to enjoy the fanservice because you're too busy fighting for your life😆 Also the bosses are all incredible and memorable thanks to their cool designs and banger ost. I get just as much hype from a new boss reveal as with a new nikke reveal.

5:09 funny you should say that as Many of the Rapture (the enemies in Nikke) do have habits of animals. They follow this hivemind system, but as individuals/not attacking anything, they are more Animalistic, such as having movements of squids, crabs, bugs or whales, or how higher ranking Rapture would actually eat some of the lower ranking ones.

Nikke is the kind of game that draws in the coomers with their shameless marketing, and then reward the coomers for being honest by giving them a raw, high quality writing in its plot. Hence, the famous quote "I came here for the 'plot' but stay for the plot" in the community. It's basically the same kind of thing you see in Honkai Impact 3rd. People were drawn in by Kiana's booty from the marketing trailer but stayed to cheer for the girl's journey.

Afterglow became my top OST once it came out, so epic! Having the 2nd anniversary in a couple of weeks I'm sure Nikke will deliver with new bangers like always! If you plan to react to other songs in the future I recommend "Goddess of Victory" and "Wings of Victory" (with Ajurika and SAK), they are not boss fight themes but the context in which they are played fits with the lyrics so damn good!

3:22 Yes this is the phase 2, however the part before that wasn't phase 1. The song on cosmograph's channel is slightly different from the song you hear in battle. Phase 1 is mostly the guitar part without vocals. Imagine you go to phase 2 where the song intensifies and the lyrics gets added. It's amazing.

There are 5 element type in nikke, fire, water, electric , iron and wind. Every element have advantage on other element like water beat fire and wind beat iron. Element advantage can be very important cause some bosses can pull up an elemental shield that only the element that have advantage can hit though ( the element shield only appears on challenge event tho so you don't need to worry about it in early game) That is a seasonal challenge event that last for a week called solo raid where you have to fight against a boss each season. The higher the stage is,the stronger the boss is. Land eater was already a boss of solo raid before, but he come back as solo raid boss again last month but with different element , from water to fire. That's why there are fire element on his design and a remix of his original ost.

Every chapter always ends in an intense plot driven climax. So the bosses having crazy themes is appropriate. Mirror Container boss was pretty big breaking point. Losing meant humanity's extinction.

If you can get pass the "jiggle physics", this game is right up your alley. There are only 3 gatcha game I play for Story and Music, those are Nikke, Limbus Company and Reverse: 1999. And I know you enjoy R:1999 and Limbus Company so pretty sure you will enjoy Nikke too

Maybe this is the time you really should play NIKKE for the story, just ignore the fan service it's not very noticeable in game. The 2nd anniversary is 2 weeks away, starting during that time can give you a huge head start on this game. Mirror Container doesn't have phase the OST is 6 minutes cause the boss fight is so long to finish.

Honestly, the fanservice in nikke is everywhere, it's hard to ignore if you're a new player at least untill the prologue give you a certain gut punch and you are blinded by your tears

@@Zerovin If you're into fan service then it's hard to ignore but if you're story focus and gameplay focus it's easy to ignore the fan service. When I started playing this game I didn't got overwhelm by fan service, cause my mind was on catching up to my friend's level and reading the lore of it. I just got distracted later after I'm done with all of it when all I have to do are dailies. 🤣

@@lightningflash15 like the fanservice and also the story and have been playing since day one, and I can safely say that the fanservise for someone not into it would be a very big turn off what with everyone's jiggle and outfits being revealing. Shift up is just very good at storytelling 99% of the time that you stay for the actual plot. The other 1% being last years hot spring event, chainsaw man and rezero colabs.
