When I first started playing this game, I was smiling almost the whole time as if I didn't take it much seriously, until I listened to Nihilister's 2nd phase ost (burn it all) for myself, which completely uno reversed my expectations of the game's soundtrack. Like holy shit I never expected heavy metal in a gacha game, that's when I started to give this game some love and support

So interesting how you spoke about the Modernia Boss theme. It was actually really accurate pertaining to the character! Also Inferno of Nihilist/Burn It All makes for a great gym song 😂 really pumps you up lol Both the song and character also some of my favorites.

If you want to get more into the Nikke rabbit hole, there's a ton of music there to dig, bc of the niche of the game is not well covered by many content creators, what make people not be aware of the plot or the soundtrack of the game that is banger after banger after banger. Not only bosses music that we can recommend more like The Harvester, The Collector Ultra, Kraken, The Moving Fortress; but many stages songs like BulletStorm, Counter Attack, DUST RIDER, Destroyed Serenity, Incomming Rapture, Khamsim, Boss_mba001, Splinter; or just the multiple variant BGM from events to menus to cinematics like EEEEEEEEE-ntertainment, The Godness Fall (Main Theme?), We Rise, The Piligrim, EDEN etc etc etc... like literally all this is from tshe 1.0 version of the game, the amount of evolution in the sountrack in the time that has passed show how they adapt the music very well depending the context, from more deep story related OST, to events (funny and depressing ones) summer event, OverZone, Bunny x 777.. MANY ORIGINALS LIKE SAVE US, SO PLAYFUL, SUMER SEASIDE, GODDESS OF VICTORY, LOVELY LONELY CAT, A.C.P.U.! FREEZE!, AND THEN WE ENTER THE WHOLE REDASH ALBUM, I'm done, I hope you want to dig more in this rabbit hole, is very good.

Rewrite: What you talked about the Land Eaters OST made me realise somethings. You talking about the song how there is sounds related to Machinery and there was that Singer too, reflects the actual boss itself, as it was Actually a Receach Facility made by Humans that was Captured and turned into the Land Eater by the Raptures (machines). Also now as i paid more attention to the vocals, there is a line thay says "never coming back for you", as if the Land Eater was saying that it wasnt gointo come back for Humanity, but instead stay with the ones who gave it "mind". Now i understand the Song and its meaning alot better, and i must thank you for that. Oh also, I reccommend you to take listen to: "The Harvester" "Daybreak" "Kraken" And "Were never giving up" These are some of my Favorite Boss OST's. (This time i toke copy of what i wrote, so the same doesnt happen again)

Nikke has an incredible soundtrack throughout, so many song to recommend. There are even a wide selection of vocal tracks, all of which hit really hard! Some personal recommendations: - RED ASH (promotional song for the game's first anniversary) - Angel's Cry (part of the RED ASH story event, my personal favourite song) - Hero (special song used in a big moment from the story) - Goddess of Victory (special combat theme for the OVER ZONE story event) - In Neverland (ending song for the NEVERLAND event story) - TuNGSTeN (promotional song in collaboration with the composer behind Attack on Titan, Hiroyuki Sawano) And that's just a few vocal tracks. The many combat and boss themes also go crazy, either in sounding badass, or carrying a really dense atmosphere!

In Ominous Cross the choral chanting shows the human side of the battle, both in the commander and the Nikkes (with them being half human). The moment where the tension built up throughout the piece is released also presents Modernia's current state of being; she is half Human, half machine, and corrupted to Heresy by the Raptures, questioning all she has known in a fight with her old commander, for whom she has an actual connection. With all these thoughts and emotions creeping into her as she loses, humanity shines through, being represented as the non-techno instrumental climax. This is covered up however by the robotic side of her; The Heretic and the Rapture which she is know synonymous with. This part of Modernia is shown taking over as the Techno elements in the climax which slowly add themselves in and then are fully re-introduced. This is looped, similarly to the perpetual repetition of war and violence, and because the song continues on from the start as it fades out, mechanical elements remain in the piece. This links really well to how Chatterbox injects Modernia with Rapture code after she returns to being Marian, as she will never truly be free from her alias The Heretic as seen at the end of Chapter 14. The piece beautifully ties together all elements of Marian/Modernia's story in the game without the use of any lyrics or discernable words. This truly is a masterpiece from Cosmograph

Nikke has tons of OSTs, made by some of the greatest artists in the world, even Hiroyuki Sawano himself has done some music for them The ones I always recommend listening to are "The Harvester", "Bulletstorm" and "Below Zero"

Always good to see another person react to Nikke's OST. I do believe that the OSTs, that are very well known by the community, is often overlooked by other people considering the type of game this is. The OSTs are some of the best I've heard in a gacha game, and that's one of the reasons why I've stayed playing the game. Hopefully you get recommended some bangers! I would recommend some, but I'd have a list of 50+ ready for you and I don't want to overwhelm lol. Hope to see you react to more in the future!
