I'm stuck at 52% I feel like I've checked every possible room and every new path is either blocked, locked, or unable to reach. I'm guessing it's intended to not be beaten until hard mode so I'm working on upgrading. My speed is lvl 5 which is great

Most likely, yep. I have found doors as far as Stage 1-12 Story II.

There's an entry requiring a key from story 2 stage 12. I'm also at 52% and raided all the map dry, the way the map in the high end looks it seems that we need to go to the right where the key is needed in order to go up.

My bad not opening the map there - At 8:20 I open my map while in the same area, where I entered into Map 34 from (The portal goes to the left from there).

Double jump usually helps with longer gaps. If you don't have that, try to Shift at the top of your jump height.
