A Nikke anime would be really cool, but to really be good, it would need a sizeable budget. I mean, that's true for most anime, but like... For Nikke, it would really need some stellar animation to try to bring more players to the game. And i think it's possible if Shift up decides to go on that route.

I'd love to see Studio Trigger do a Nikke anime. They hit it out of the park with Edgerunners. If they do make any anime, I hope ShiftUp doesn't just retell the main campaign story. I'd like to see either a prequal or something focused on Goddess squad.

@@ExportErrorMusic Trigger also made Kill la Kill, that is an anime that has a LOT of fanservice, that doesn't detract from the story. So it would be actually a perfect fit. I do think thst doing an anime to expand the universe could be something interesting. I mean, the goddess squad is probably the most popular squad after all. Something maybe before Red ash?

Yeah, maybe the initial Rapture invasion. Or shortly after. Though so much of that early lore is vague and seems to be setting up for a big shocking reveal (like the government made the Raptures or something), that they may not want to reveal it in an anime.

@@ExportErrorMusic I totally believe that the Raptures are like the robots in Horizon Zero dawn. Not the animal shaped ones, the war-machine ones. Basically weapons that got out of control, maybe even gained sentience and tried to escape their confinement... And just like Raptillion once pondered: Who was that fired the first shot? The humans or the raptures? I'm starting to believe that Raptures were only trying to have peace for themselves. They don't attack animals, or destroy stuff randomly. They behave kinda like animals themselves. And can grow docile in certain conditions. Maybe kinda like Lions, Wolves, Tigers, sharks and stuff.

I have one thing I’d say you could add or change about the lyrics to make it even more impactful. The final verse of “Goddess who cannot yield” instead being “Goddess who will not yield” to imply it’s not that she can’t stop but that she will never of her own free will stop fighting until the job is done.

Actually, I chose "cannot" instead of "will not" specifically to show that it's not her own free will to keep fighting. It's meant to reference her single-minded obsession as shown in Overzone. The longer version of this song (the original) has a line about being "lost in obsessions thrall", that all she has left is her mission. It's a more dark take on Snow White than has been presented recently, but it's one I'd like to imagine ShiftUp exploring.
