Actually I just exported the (hopefully) final version of the Abnormal tier list, and somehow it's longer than both the Missilis and the Elysion Burst Animation Tier lists, clocking in at 26+ minutes. I'm super, super happy with how it turned out. It features 3 characters everyone says they want me to include more of, and it has an epic conclusion to the meta story in past couple of tier lists. Now comes the fun part of what to do next. I'd like to do something Christmas themed, maybe a video where the characters fight over who'd be the best Santa or something.

Anout Cinderella shooting a laser from her wrist: I'm pretty sure Old Tales mentioned that's how she fires, the beam then bouncing off Glass Slippers to make the shots we see.

Its kinda odd since it never got mentioned again. And she seemed to be defenseless without the slippers. Even without the refraction she should have atleast been able to defend herself from Behemoth with just the pure energy. The smaller Shields also seem to have gun barrels and fire "blaster"-like energy bolts which doesnt make sense for a laser refracting. I guess they also function as a weapon AND a mirror to deflect her own laser. For example, the 2nd Anniversary Trailer had her shooting pure beams while other animations and storiies had her shoot "bullet"-like projectiles

I'm super happy with how the ending turns out in next week's Abnormal tier list. @KingofAwesomness14 You are correct about Laplace and Cinderella fighting off corruption. This, however, isn't corruption, it seems. Sin is doing this of her own accord. It isn't the Alengenia controlling her. She's controlling IT through her kotodama. Also, I'm just a huge sucker for the trope of person A going off the deep end and Person B (And sometimes C) having to snap them out of it. For example: D-16 from Transformers: ONE becoming Megatron and B-127 and Elita trying to bring him down, Zeheart Galette and Asemu Asuno's final battle where Asemu finally knocks some sense into his friend from the end of Gundam AGE, Micchy and Kouta from Kamen Rider Gaim after Kouta finds out Micchy was lusting for power. Hell, even Naruto FINALLY beating some sense into Sasuke at the end of Shippuden.

I didn't think that anything could make me love Dorothy more than I already do but then this happened. I swear I'd hand her the Ark on the silver platter that she deserves. Everything was fantastic in this video. I am yet to experience the past events, so it will be a..., treat to watch Dorothy's downward spiral to madness once I play them. Great addition of the treat meme. Although not a NIKKE original, it certainly fits with the ever hungry Snow White. I wish I could learn and retain cooking skills. I would make Snow White all the meals she deserves (and teach Emma how to cook). And why must you remind us all of the pain and annoyance of seeing the Pilgrim banner appear just for the gremlin Noah to appear. I didn't get why the appearance of Sin in your latest videos. Now I do. And a OC Nikke that's possibly OP beyond imagination in the form of a genie named Scheherazade? Mankind playing with the power of the gods. It's taboo. I love this story idea. That said, I think Sin might have made a mistake. The stories of Shahrazad was about a character that told stories to get out of her execution. As such, I think she might have some ability to ignore/resist Sin's speaking compulsion. In addition, the genie often referenced in the original 1001 Nights is actually super evil. There is no monkey's paw, it just decided to kill the guy who released him. It was only after the guy tricked the genie back into the lamp that the genie was convinced not to kill him.

Scarlet’s gacha burst screen is actually S tier for me. It accentuates Scarlet’s beauty with the red eye makeup and the eyelash physics. Her femininity is enhanced overall, especially with her long red nails. There’s a foreign almost ghostly looking energy with the blue and possibly a reason for it. It reminds me of blue will o wisp aesthetics you see with fox girls who are also usually red in theme. If you look closely at the blade, Rose’s reflection is on it. I love the energy effects on the sword as well.

Oh that's a great idea, I'll create a playlist now. Probably better than linking the individual videos in the pinned comment lol. I made the images in Blender + Stable Diffusion (using the MMD model to pose and make a depth map/latent image, then run it through ComfyUI at like a 0.95 denoise rate plus the Controlnet Depth Map).

Glad you like it! It's a fan story, though I try and stick within the possible range of the lore (Sin is a character in the lore and is able to control people with her words). Funny enough, I did have Laplace show an ability to resist Sin's mind control via her hero delusions in the Missilis Burst Animation Tier List, and I had thought of bringing that back but decided against it. And yes Cindy was able to easily resist it here, but as we'll find out in the next video, she's not going to be able to help much in the finale.

I say it in the "rules" part of the video, but I'm also going to say it here: I went extremely hard on these compared to the other lists. First, because Pilgrims are so hard to get so they better have good animations. Second, because so many of these bursts are paid gacha skins so just being "good" isn't enough, it needs to be excellent to justify the price. And third, putting everything in top tier would be a boring list. Which is a long way of saying, I am fully prepared for the deluge of backlash I'm going to get for the Modernia rankings.

Alright, it’s official. Your writing skills extend beyond the songs and well into this. The part where Dorothy half-heartedly apologizes for disappointing her image to Cinderella calls back to Pinne’s first impression in Overzone so hard. On a sidenote, how is it that even the fan stories about the Fairy Tale Era make me think of RWBY in moderately deeper-than-surface-level ways? Also, regarding Cinderella not flying back into the Queen’s chamber to finish the fight, I can think of a few ways they can handwave it off (admittedly, I apparently invest a lot of suspension of disbelief in this game, since I didn’t notice the powerscaling plotholes in the Four-Beasts arc until you pointed it out). The excuses that come to mind are: she got stunned (seems lazy and insufficient), low power (cop out, probably doesn’t fit her immediate laser fire), her flight abilities have limited elevation or other limits of some kind (actually kinda feasible), she was ejected faster than she could counter-propel, or - either thru panic at the idea that the remaining parts of the queen are too strong for her to destroy, or some odd strategy - she decided switching to the cut off the station backup plan would be for the best either coz she knows she doesn’t have the energy to finish the fight in a Rapture factory or coz the Queen might try retreating to Earth. Anyway, lovely video, and I can’t wait for the full release of that theme you teased at the end.

Thanks so much for your kind words! Yeah, as far as the flight thing goes I agree there's a million ways to handwave it away. I think "Cinderella realized she can't win, and decided the backup plan of cutting off the station was the only option" is the best. The full theme and it's reprise version that is at the end of the Abnormal video will be out on Spotify/Apple Music/YT Music next Friday when the Abnormal tier list releases. Will we get to read some of Modernia's 600 page fanfic or will I have to write it myself? I'm thinking a good mind-switch inducing scene might be Modernia rewriting chapter 18 (?) so that it involves some steamy mid-battlefield coitus in front of everyone while the commander is pointing a Vapaus loaded gun to her head - obviously he can't pull the trigger (loves her too much) so Modernia switches to being on top (obviously extremely unsafe given the strength + weight differences) & this shatters the commander's hips which is how his Vapaus-blood enters Modernia's system which will allow the real Modernia to overthrow the corruption (think Cinderella's story but she can actually fight back). Infact I'm cackling so hard writing this I might give myself a mind-swi.... What was I saying? Oh right, I think you've got to bump up SBS's gacha skin for her sparkly come-hither doe eyes. They're hypnotic.

If you were not aware Export. The issue with the EN VA's is that there is currrently a Work dispute in regards to using AI trained programming for the Character VA's going on. So some of the VA Studio's and what not are denying work cause of it. I do not know if this is related to anything going on with the Screen Actors guild or not. EDIT: Also the First Crown Segment is Label "Sakura: Bloom in Summer"

So many things I want to say. First, I’ve never even interacted with Sin in game and I hate her more than I hate Crow and Red Shoes combined because of a fan parody that only exists as comic relief for the potentially rage inducing opinions pertaining to a 100% fictional universe. Also, speaking of Red Shoes, she’s actually the one ultimately responsible for Dorothy’s trauma. I’m surprised someone didn’t make that argument. Lastly, I feel like the only reason you put Noah in D tier instead of F was so that D would no longer be empty. There’s no way that travesty of a burst should be above Modernia’s. By the way, that whole conversation was pure gold.

Thanks for the detailed response! To your first point, I actually love Sin she's one of my favorite characters. And I'm glad I got such a strong response, I take that as a compliment to the writing. You're totally right about Red Shoes. However even for a parody I felt making Dorothy, Snow White or Cecil aware of that her actions was a stretch too far. And Cinderella still blames herself for a lot of what happened, so she's not going to defend herself by blaming Red Shoes because she doesn't necessarily think she deserves to be defended (or at least that's my interpretation of her). Also, you are absolutely right about that Noah thing. Like, 100% that's why I put her in D instead of F.

You should take it as a compliment that I hate Sin. It’s good writing, no question. I agree that Cinderella wouldn’t defend herself, and in game, the others present wouldn’t have any idea what happened. It’s just that, often for comedic effect, the characters in other tier list videos have known things I wouldn’t necessarily expect them to. Anyway, thanks for making these. I enjoy them a lot.
