Just started playing yesterday. What would be cool is if there was a travel mechanic similar to warframes double triple jumps!

I'd loved it if there was a double/triple jump BUT keep in mind Godfall's maps are not as open-world as Warframe. Many of the areas are not explorable/walkable and having double/triple jump would get us stuck in those "props-only" parts of the map... or we'll just be hitting invisible walls which is just as silly

Maybe I missed it but what does the bar above your health bar do? It slowly builds up it seems.

if it's the yellow bar that build up under the HP i will be the Archon Fury. Have not noticed anything above the green HP bar. Oh nvm that would be overhealth. the little green second HP bar. Overhealth is like an extra "shield" that takes damage instead of your HP. Some good builds rely on building and keeping up the overhealth as much as possible as a "cushion".

@@StruckTLF yea this is the bar above your health bar and I believe I found out that it is your defense bar and when depleted, then your health bar gets depleted.

Honestly, I don't remember...I used to just charge head on at everything and tank DMG until I died LoL 😂😭 I'm not big on defence! Heck I didn't use Archon Fury until late in the game!😂😭 And collected the badass more powerful weapons until I got bored

@@danielcooke3732 Yeah Godfall is kind of a "dodge simulator" and there aren't proper full tank mode builds unless one synergizes overhealth and lifesteal and other stuff. But even then getting 2-3 shot will happen.

How to see if you entered rampage?

Hey, thanks for asking this and for watching my content! Unless they changed it you should be able to see some sort of yellow-white trails after your attacks. That used to be the only indication we have entered Rampage before. Hopefully they added a buff-bar icon for it or some other visual representation on top of it.

After finishing the game...I found out I picked one of the best Valourplates by chance "apparently"... I thought this would be like a hacknslash.

well... yeah some valorplates are better for specific builds due to the way the "socket" slots are arranged and the number of slots of each type. On top of that adding a valorplate with a more appealing passive bonus and archon power, eventually certain valorplates just stand out from the rest for all sorts of builds. The game does have a ton of hacking and slashing but it's more of a "dodging simulator 2021".

Nah what I'm saying is that the tutorial sux! No proper explanation of anything! You're just expected to know what you are doing! WTF ?! It's one of the most complicated games I've come across!

U want to know how I "chose my Valourplate?" - I looked for the one that was most visually appealing. For me that was Greyhawk

@@danielcooke3732 I definitely agree that the lack of proper introductory tutorial is terrible. There's only a bit that's explained and it's far from enough. There is a "help" kind of menu where players can read about certain things and it helps a bit (i even used screenshots from that for this video). But it also is not something the game tells players about and doesn't contain info about everything anyways.

@@danielcooke3732 That's kind of how i chose at the beginning too lol. I also chose Greyhawk as well as it just looks amazing :) I know now there's different paint jobs for every valourplate that people can unlock but the hawk guy and the wolf guy are kind of the best looking for most people. I do have a weird taste and like the "insect-looking" valorplates but my IRL friends said they are the ugliest so i can see how tastes differ sometimes.

Hmm, as far as i remember rampage was indicated by those white-ish trails you leave when attacking. Which sued to be my way of knowing when i enter rampage. But most likely they've already added some other "tell". If they did add something about it it will be in the full patch notes (at the gearbox forums).

Hello! And thank you for the video man! I have one problem... I dont see the rampage red bar at all... I dont know if thats a glitch or they removed it from the game :/ its driving me nuts!!!

Hey, I've not read anything about this changing. forums.gearboxsoftware.com/t/february-11-2021-godfall-primal-update/4552030 the patch noted don't seem to mention it as far as i can see.

What about petrifying enemies what button do you use for that

@@thelightsociety1 I believe it's the shield slam attack (L2+O) while your shield is primed?

Exclusively for ps5 and pc. Playing on a ps4.

At launch it was exclusively as mentioned. Eventually, the made its way to ps4 too :)

This game is too damn complicated! It's not like I don't get games... I played the Arkham Games Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Ghost of Tsushima! And I played all the Need for Speed games and Diablo type games but this is just strange!

Yes, I agree the way certain things behave and work in Godfall is not very logical or user-friendly. And sadly the devs keep missing the mark when updating/patching and focus on improving the things that could have been left for later in terms of priority before fixing/reworking some of the things that make the game unappealing to the vast majority of people who tried it.

while i agree that the game was super over-marketed and over-hyped and failed to deliver a product that would make me want to play it for weeks and more, I personally don't think it's horrible, just lacking in many ways. A rushed and uninspired game feels like a better description to me :) There was a lot of potential but it was wasted by bad game design decisions.

@@RedOtter100 I wouldn't even compare warframe to this apart from the similarity of frames vs plates and the 3rd person action rpg element. That said i also don't like Warframe for many reasons and never could enjoy that game.
