Loved the transparency. There’s a difference between liking black “culture” and liking black “people.” Hats off to both of you comedic geniuses for a real, no BS discussion. I’m the black mother (who can swim) with three black sons who not only can swim but two of them were collegiate, springboard and platform divers at D1 schools. Yeah, I learned how to swim at 5 years old too. Back in the day pools were segregated. Before Godfrey and Gary's time. Which is why a lot of black people could not swim. And in the south during slavery, the enslaved were scared of water as well. My momma couldn't swim so she wanted me to learn. She learned in her 30s though.
