I bought Godin A6 5 days ago. I tried to register with Zoom H6. The voices were uneven and bad. By connecting directly to the amplifier and recording the offense, I was able to get efficiency. I did not experience these problems in Godin grand concert.

Is the Godin A6 good for note-bending?

Thanks for watching! Yes, I feel like note bending is pretty easy on the A6. The fret work is impeccable and the 16" radius on the fingerboard keeps you from fretting out.

Hi Caitlin, I am lead guitarist in a band and bought the A6 for our acoustic stiff... To me, it plays just like an electric with ease of bending and fretting... my hands are use to electric guitars and this thing does not tire me out at all. I ran across these Godins while researching Taylor's T5 series... Im thrilled with my A6... Hope this helps...

Caitlin, it has a very comfortable neck and fingerboard. To me, it is almost like playing an electric, although it also depends on the type and gauge strings you use. I like the DR Zebra 11-50 strings, as they kind of give me a happy medium between electric and acoustic tone/feel. I love the a6 ultra, but it’s not for everyone. It takes some tweaking if you are plugged into a different amp or PA than you are used to. You also lose that fat, percussive element of a full body acoustic, but I like gigging with a guitar where I never have to worry about feedback problems.
