I bought this model, it’s very beautiful. But how is the volume of the first 3 strings? It seems lower then the bigger ones. Is this common? Thanx

I play in a praise band. I have a couple classical guitars and I find the nylon strings are so mellow it is hard to cut though when you have other instruments playing with you. Have you noticed an advantage using this Godin in a similar situation. I love finger styles of playing. Perhaps that is my problem?

Thanks for the review. With the nut being wider, is it possible to fret the low E string with your thumb, eg when playing an F shape chord?

Yes. Obviously it depends a bit on how big your hands are, but I can play thumb-over without any real stretch.

I bought one and am very happy with it except for one thing: I was not informed that it does not have real wood on the neck but instead richlite which I find tacky. I find the next extremely playable and great for flamenco, fission and jazz and the amplified sound cuts through the mix really well. The sound is a little synthetic or inorganic but one guitar can't have it all and even when I am warming up people stop and listen to its percussive clear and precise sound.

A number of the Multiac models do use Richlite but this particular model is one of the few that use rosewood.

Please could you tell me what the action is like on this guitar - height of the strings at the 12th fret. I've read that the action is very high. Thanks.

My guitar measures 2.8mm, which I find perfectly comfortable
