it's a chambered-body. But with with pickguard on top, I thought it makes so much different tonalities rather than with wood top. :)

I love Godin guitars. I have had a few over the years and one I shouldn’t have let go was the Radiator oh and the Summit with Seymour P90s. Want one of these new ones now!! Thanks for the video mate. Lovely playing.

Bends on this guitar are insane, the playability too! My only gripe is mine the paint flakes off just by looking at it, don’t know if it was a defect, but by the time I noticed the paint at the bottom where the guitar sits on your leg was flaking off the store wouldn’t take it back and Godin wouldn’t help either…I’m now stuck with this guitar forever lol not that I’d sell it anyways and it’s always useful to have a guitar you don’t have to worry bringing with you for a jam party…I was lucky though I bought before inflation hit at 1000$ Canadian tx included now it’s at 1300$ new without tax 😆

I just found out and bought my first Godin (pictured on the right). Since, I've regretted buying all my Fender hrand guitars except for my Rarities strat. I wish All of my guitars were Godins. The QUALITY is unmatched by Fender, Gibson and even Schecters!!! I'll trade a American professional tele for a Godin progression straight up!!!

i have an original radiator and it screams!...quality is easily up with most fenders I've handled. these are no cheap, knockoff or "budget" brand.... why is this guy talking like Godin is some obscure brand?

Funny you should mention that John. If memory serves, the demo was actually played through a very inexpensive Harley Benton Mighty 15TH amp head that we also had in for demo'ing and rather liked. That amp only costs about £211, so you could always try one of those. Otherwise, if clean-ish valve tone at a fair price is what you're after, for most applications a Fender Blues Junior will do a great job. On the non-valve side, hard to beat the sounds for the money that you get from a Boss Katana-50, which will do a bunch of nice effects and gain tones as well. Again, these suggestions not necessarily for maximum headroom with no breakup at all - but will do traditional clean to crunch, as in the demo, well. Hope that helps, those are just the first off the top of my head - there's plenty of great choices out there. The ranges of Blackstar, Orange and others all well worth a look too.

It wouldn't perhaps be the first guitar we'd reach for if jazz was your main goal. I'm sure you could play jazz on it but it's not really optimised for that. We'd suggest looking at hollow or semi hollow guitars with humbuckers first of all. Epiphone has some great options there at decent prices. 335s and Casinos will tackle jazz but also work for rock and pop or you could look at something like the old Emperor model. For a little more money Godin's own 5th Avenue Kingpin would make a nice jazz guitar and its built in North America too. Also check out Guild's various Starfire semis, great value. Gretsch's Streamline and Electromatic ranges shouldn't be overlooked but arguably are voiced a little brighter in some cases. Joe Robinson is a fine player who does jazz pieces on a Gretsch and let's not forget Chet Atkins either, though. The list goes on but those are some decent starting points.
