I’ve watched a few videos on these amps now, and it’s frustrating how they all mention about how Loud they are.. how many of us are bedroom players.. 60%..80% ? How about some demos of how quiet they go, I’m sure there’s many others that would like to hear also ! I’m very interested in buying one, the artist comes to mind but I don’t want to blow the windows out my house, and I get on with my neighbours pretty well so far ?

This guitar can do almost anything! That's why when Lindsey Buckingham left Fleetwood Mac, they had to replace him with TWO guitarists!

Some of the worst tone I've ever heard live is this guy right here. It's almost painful. Here is fine but live live on stage live is so bad.

I found using P90s helps a lot staying in upper mids and leaving the sonic basement to the basement and drummer effortlessly.

Well if you add a middle Strat pickup and 5 way switch (aka Nashville Tele) and a push-pull or push-push pot so you can get the neck and bridge without the middle, THEN you can truly play anything on a Tele.

This information can be just as useful, if not more so, to the folks running the PA because most of the soundmen I've worked with at the various shows I've played throught the decades don't have a clue about how to set the EQ!

I think they would've sold a ton of these with a more conventional control knob layout. Reaching out to the horn for volume is pretty weird. But it's a weird guitar so is that unforgiveable? I like these.

He was really good a few years ago but lately Eric is on a different planet or is it just me ? I couldn’t believe that classic riff he was playing and ripped into some bluesy run. Not to many guitars can make my draw drop these days. I don’t dig that weird arpeggio computer sounding style. I have to feel the human behind the steel.

BS advice, find an amp that goes to 11. Put all knobs at 11. Done, rest of the band is there to fill up space on the stage anyway.

Call me crazy, but I wish drums were not mic'ed, except in stadiums. I want to hear things in this order: vocals, guitar solos, keyboard solos, guitar backing, keyboard backing, horns, bass, drums.

I had my breakthrough with Shady Grove for this style and actually putting in my first melody while thumbing the bass like this. Simple melody in a simple position and all the notes are close with little movement and postion changes. This was awesome to watch, Thank you Tommy and Guitarist.

Imagine a guitar player telling a Hammond player to adjust their tone because they're eating up all the frequency space. I know yall have drawbars that adjust your timbre.

i bought one of these and own a couple custom shops for context. heres what i would say about this instrument 1. sounds great. a little more aggressive than the burstbuckers. i have a custom 78 pickup in one of my R8s. it has a more rounded off tone to the notes. these greeny pickups are a bit more crisp 2. the neck is medium sized 50s LP. not huge but not a 60s pop sickle stick either. it is very close to my R8. a perfect shape 3. i like the fretboard. its even colored, feels nice, medium color once oiled up 4. the nut isnt finished. the ends hang off the end of the guitar by about 1/16" 5. the binding is scrapped poorly. there are gouges. just not dont very cleanly 6. the fret ends are too long and sharp. this is very noticable the nut took ten minutes to fix the fret wire cleanup to about an hour with a file and 400/1000 grit paper while working on it i rounded the sharp corners of the neck binding this work was well worth it. the neck feels really good now. no sharp edges and broken in type of feel. i would buy this guitar again no doubt. it sounds really nice. BUT the fret ends have to be dealt with. they are really rough, hang off the fret board even. for the price of this guitar the frets should not have left the factory like this. the nut hanging off is a 10 minute fix but still shows lack of care. the binding gouges i say is part of buying a Chinese guitar. so if you can do basic fit and finish work this guitar can be made to be very nice, if not, just know it will sound great but may be rough in places while playing

The the trick is less bass and more treble generally speaking. It will sound thinner to a guitarists ear, but it sounds good to listeners. Our trained ears are our own worst enemy. Always chasing full tone.

Well said! I'm a bassist and I had to learn that the rich beautiful awesome tone I get playing by myself at home is NOT the tone that works best live. For me, boosting low mids and mids are where the magic is live.
