In a previous video, Rochelle is seen wearing a Wavy Top piece, but you can't see any of her own hair. This lead to many clients asking exactly how to achieve this look. In this video, Rochelle will show two different ways to use a Top Piece without showing any of her own hair. She will model these looks using 4 of our different top pieces. I had my hair cut into a chin length bob with bangs and now am wishing for my longer hair back. All the looks you demonstrated today are only for people with long hair, correct? My hair is getting thinner and thinner from the bangs on back to the crown. I think a topper would work especially since I am in the Phoenix (hot, hot, Hot) area. What would you recommend? I am fascinated by the top pieces. Wigs are not very comfortable for me, and I must be sensitive as I find them itchy, especially around the back of my neck after I have had them on for about an hour. If we are doing updos that means my hair can still be shorter and I can use a longer top piece? My hair at 77 is just taking forever to grow and is very thin.

Hi Susan, our top pieces are typically meant to brush over the same length hair.. However, I'm glad you saw this video I made - as long as you're gathering the hair together so you don't see any shorter hair, I'd say you're good to go! xox Ro

Hi, I recently bought the Taylor top and I love it so much, but, unfortunately, it doesn't stay tight on my bio hair, my hair is baby fine and slippery. I follow your instructions and I'm confident I'm doing it correctly its really easy. I want to keep the topper but my question is can I use the Taylor top on the Taylor wig or will it be to thick? Maybe thin the Taylor wig? Or not? Right now I wear the topper in a ponytail and wear a stretchy headband so it doesn't slide. Your hair is definitely thicker than mine, my bio hair I have alot but it's so baby fine and silky...I hate it! Thanks

Thia, some clients will make little pin curls with their hair and attach the pieces to the pin curl and clip in. There are no rules - it's what you like and feel looks realistic and natural. Sounds cute how you wear it. Love your hair - it's doing the best it can - many clients will also own a selection of wigs or even turn a wig into a Top Piece for different looks. Headbands may help keep the Taylor Top secure too...try different ideas and please let us know when you hit on something you love! Ro

@@thiamata5346 also after you wash your bio hair ..twist it in a messy updo while you do make up...mine is very thin also so usually is dry by the time I finish...I spray with some hair spray and only run my fingers through it..I also hair reg, mono, and Taylor topper and all work...hope this helps you

Hi Jackie, thanks for your question. First, a Top Piece is not going to cover your head if you have no hair. And, you can't glue a piece on if you do have hair without damaging your hair. We are all about saving every hair on your head, so our suggestion would be to wear a full wig (if you have to sleep with it on) and sleep on a satin pillow case so the hair on the wig stays as nice as possible. Would a wig band work to hold the Taylor top or wavy top in place if you’re bald from chemo?

Thelma, Ro here. I would rather suggest that you choose our Taylor wig and enjoy wearing it or a different wig for the time being. Also a selection of bangs, turbans, etc right now. We want you to feel secure and not sorry about a top piece when at this time there's little hair to secure the piece to your head. Your hair will grow back and then, a Top piece can clip in your hair and the illusion will work. Most new clients that took the step towards wigs end up saying - Why did I worry so? Sometimes we forget that the clothing we want to wear will need to be pulled on over our head, it can really mess up our hair and the work we have done with hair and makeup.... If you have a silky type of scarf put it on over your hair and face, then gently pull that shirt or top over the scarf that is protecting your makeup and hair. Using the scarf as protection can save you lots of time
