Ironically, Ra's Disciple was that for a little bit, in that it gets you the three tributes you need to get out one, but they put so many limitations on them while trying to make them better than the anime version that they just don't work anymore. We can still get an original Obelisk's and Slifer's Disciple, but I don't trust Konami to not drop the ball.

Those 1st 2 matches didn't really get off the ground. Maybe when playing theme decks for fun, it might be better to avoid Ash Blossoms so that the decks can actually be shown playing to the best of their abilities. He only runs 2 though so its crazy he got them early on twice.

I miss God like cards in Yugioh. We haven't really seen them since 5Ds with the Nordics. I know Number 100 could technically count but there has been nothing like the Gods, Wicked Gods, the Three Phantoms or the Nordics in a while.

If the God cards had proper summon support aside from slimes(which are anti-thetical to Ra's summoning w/ Ancient Chant anyways) over the fifty GY "support" cards that only let you keep the gods on the field for one turn, that would be a great start to making them usable. Summoning them from the GY is cool and all, but we only need one card for that, Konami. Obelisk and Slifer also need their own Ancient Chants that aren't archtype(as in _another_ archtype other than Divine-Beasts) specific. And all three of them need a field card similar to Fallen Paradise. Like, they have their own type _and_ attribute, how hard is it to make support for them? It can't be worse than typing ""Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms", or "Armityle the Chaos Phantasm"" in every single card text. And let's not get it twisted, Sacred Beasts _also_ need some help. Fallen Para gets popped too easily by practical decks and has basically no recursion. And once it's gone, the Sacred Beasts themselves are just sitting there waiting to be picked off by card effects. It's just that the God cards are _so much worse_ that people tend to just accept the Sacred Beast's less than rouge status.

Essentialy in the anime the Sacred beasts had a summoning condition that required you to tell your opponent what you set to Tribute for them(But in exchange Uria gained atk for each trap in the GY and could be summoned by Tributing face down Traps)(And trap They didnt need to be face up or Continious) (Hamon was the same way you just tell your opponent that you set 3 Spells and you can instantly summon hamon by tributing the 3 Face down spells Turn 1)And i think Raviels summoning condition was the same.

Again, Deion has the same access to hand traps as anyone else in this game. It's not my fault he chooses not to play them because he's hard headed. Either you adapt with the game or sink in the evolution of it.

Working on a sacred beast deck now, hopefully the next master duel update somehow fixes bots and make getting SRs and URs a bit more easier. As of now I have to keep dismantling decks I use to make new decks. Game gets boring playing this same deck for so long. I like to explore other decks alot. Ive played toons, ojama, six sam, final countdowns, Final AKA Death, Luck decks and Silent Swordsman, predaplants and alot of different decks. But now im stuck with playing six samurai and structure decks.

Do you think Rhymestyle might do "Duel Pack Openings" like he used to do collab summons from Dokkan? It might be fun to see him do 10 pulls with Seereax and others when the new cards come out after the update. I've read it will be Exosister archetype and other stuff, might even have the Adventure engine from the previous leak, which would make the pack a must pull. Also, since Seereax insinuated he actually reads the comments, I posit this idea to him. Exosister is an deck that punishes your opponent for interacting with their grave (which Rhyme tends to do a lot). You can also get off a multi-banish with one of the traps as a reward for using there Xyz effects prior to activation. Note that Exosister does lock you into the archetype, but that just means you can play more staples/hand traps/backrow hate. Would also love to see you guys play Despia to see who can pull out a triple Masquerade combo to burn your opponent into lock.

Gods are my favorite with Slifer being my absolute favorite. I have a deck that utilizes all three gods. It's not the most consistent its manageable. Obelisk has a ritual in my friend group. Everytime he shows, he dies the very next turn. It's sad, we feel bad, but it ALWAYS happens. We don't know why he's always the God that gets folded like that no matter how hard me and another friend try keeping our Obelisk alive. He still somehow fails to survive.

It was rough seeing Deion get bodied most of the video, as I'm team Gods. But those final minutes, Rhyme's face when he realized Obelisk could just come back, God's Anger kicking in to summon Obelisk, the Duel Links animation for his summon playing, God's Anger continuing to play quietly in the background, Deion showing no mercy, and the duel ending with 1 attack from Obelisk; it was just... *chef's kiss* It was all worth it.
