I took classes with Mr. Berryman, as we called him then, as a young child in Houston. I remember this story so well. I'm looking forward to teaching it myself. Thank you for this demonstration.

I love this parable! great presentation of it. One thing I change when I present it is for the sheep to get lost while being under the charge of the ordinary shepherd. I made this change because of Psalm 23 -- "Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. Then, The Good Shepherd finds the lost sheep after he comes between the flock and the wolf. :)

what a patient , careful storyteller. i loved watching as you told it with care and honor. it was lovely and reverent and beautiful and glorious of his love for the sheep.
