Hi everyone! This time, I would create a really simple shader that can be quite useful if we need to make a smooth transition from one image to another. I experimented with it a bit while working on a side project. Let's take a look at what such a shader might look like.

Great part with the shader, but instead of calculations inside _process func you could use _input(event) and tween. This way you can also make additional actions on click, for example, randomize the seed of the noise texture, so it will be different pattern every time you click.

I made a lightning effect with a shader. It would be quite difficult to achieve the same result with particles. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jaXLdICQZtOgaLM
