How do you permanently remove this addon? I've tried disabling it in the project settings and deleting the addons folder, but I get errors saying the addons folder can't be found. What's looking for it? Did it permanently modify my Godot install?

@@justasydefix6251 LOL, yeah, I am always messing around with different game programming software. GODOT gave me an appreciation for Python, which is what its scripting language is based on. I'm also looking at the Ren'PY game engine, which is more of a visual novel style engine that also uses Python. I liked GODOT due to it being an open source style engine with no strings attached.

Every time i click to edit the terrain i get 1000's of errors, which I don't understand, i went to stackoverflow and learnt the plugin requires GLES3, so i tried the plugin in a GLES3 project and it fixed nothing. I even tried the other terrain plugin and it wouldn't even let me enable the plugin because apparently some code in it was written incorrectly, is there an easy way to make terrain without a plugin?

GLES2 causes all sorts of problems with the features needed by the plugin so it's hard to know if the terrain couldn't save properly because of that (cuz you say upgrading to GLES3 didnt fix it?). The assetlib version should work, but if you get errors in GLES3 you can post a bug report on the issue tracker

I've tried both from GitHub and the AssetLib and the in editor AssetLib, none of them worked. I don't know why it's broken so there's no point in making a bug report

@@davthemillionth you don't have to know why, you only need to be able to reproduce the problem. Describe your setup, show which errors you get, and maybe it can be enough to find out the cause

I think yYou have to invert the normal cuz godot uses opengl normals and they are different
