If you're a phone-first creator, I'm a big fan of the smaller mics over the DJI Mic 2.

Sounds great. Difficult to chose between the Cube and the Lark M2. What about the DJI Mini and Rode Micro?

I don't have any firsthand experience with the Rode or DJI, but I really don't like that the clip on the DJI isn't removable because that'll just be more bulk on your shirt when using the magnets (as I strongly prefer to do). I also think the Cube and Lark's form factor blows the Rode out of the water.

Does it fit over a phone case?

It probably depends on the case, but it works just fine with my case.
