A lot of music videos would have moving lights to match with the beat for example Dua Lipa's Levitating though takes place within a 'lift' but gives off a disco vibe with its moving lights.

I liked the subtle use of moving light in the night driving scenes in the move Drive. Also I especially liked the look of lights (reflections) off the window of the cop car when Arthur is in the backseat of it in the Joker movie.

I feel like The Martian, displays a very hectic and emotional journey through the movement of the lights

A very good examples of moving lights is in Enter the Void. It’s used to convey different emotions. The flashing lights can give an ominous and suspenseful feeling but at the same time it can create this whole journey with the character making the movie feel almost interactive. Moving lights especially in Enter the Void can convey various meanings through context.

honestly any type of horror movie showcases a good example of moving light, esp when they are trying to build tension with things such as lightning

As always, great demo and great to see the effect of adding each light. Gotta say, though -- if you're trying to be metaphorical, make sure the viewer will know what the metaphor is. I admit that when I was watching the open, my first thought was: "Uh-oh, this guy's in trouble - the cops just pulled up outside!"

I love how they use moving lights in noir films to create mood, I also love 2001 Space Odyssey when the astronaut goes trough a portal, this film was a pioneer in the use of special effects

My favourite scene that uses moving light is towards the end of L$D by A$AP Rocky. The scene has a ton of mirrors in It and is key light has a lot of movement on the subject, incredible shot!

My favourite Scene of using a moving lights are 1. White shooting a Subject close to the fire, the fire light reflects a moving warm tone on subjects body and face. I always Use a moving light to create that look 2. while shooting a Car indoor scene, My Preference is always use moving lights so that it replicates the look of lights from the cars and shops passing by
