The fanless design is the best feature, looks like the entire back of the monitor is one big heatsink. Also, USB C is handy but it looks like there's no D tap and only 8 bit color depth is a let down. But still it looks like a nice light weight monitor, great for traveling.

I think it's a good quality monitor. Lots of things to like, but the lack of any kind of UI indictor that the camera is actually recording makes the camera interface absolutely useless to me. Ergonomically, I don't always want to look at the A7sIII screen. Seems like such an oversight. Of course you can just mirror HDMI but that's kinda pointless too for anything other than streaming. Would love Godex to update their interface software!

Maybe I missed something. Can the monitor also be used off camera so that the XPRO 2 trigger can be used in the hotshoe? Looks like a great product.

This monitor basically only works of camera. The hot shoe is used just as a mount.

@@dannulik So, if the hotshoe is just a mount, then the GM6S could be mounted on something like a Magmod coldshoe and then cable connect GM6S to camera. Correct?

already purchased the monitor, but it the monitor automatically off when record in 4k..and after the recording off it will turn on again. is there some setting that I've missed there? already update the firmware btw

Nice screen but dropped the ball with Sony camera support, especially touch-to-focus which makes phone apps a much better alternative to this. Maybe try to understand the market more next time.

please tell me why my screen is not full screen? Only in 4k mode screen on the entire monitor. And when I switch the mode to 4k, it appears for a second on the display that there is no signal. so should it be?
