I use it with my Fuji X100, it’s fun for casual use. I think auto doesn’t communicate with the camera at all, it has an ambient light sensor and it adjusts the flash intensity based on that - but your camera doesn’t affect that AFAIK.

Came here to say this. It's an auto thyristor flash, you can look up how that works if you want to try and work around the auto mode.

I love the flash for use with SLR style bodies but with rangerfinder style bodied I can't get my fingers in to put on/remove it.

Always use rechargeable NiMh with high drain device like a flash, or at least Alkaline, never use carbon zinc, thats only for low low drain like a remote

I usually like to stick around 1/20-1/30 of a second and get some motion blur with my flash!
