Gods & Soldiers: Why God of War and Metal Gear Solid Deserve Epic TV Series or Movies!

I would love to see a God Of War animated series in the style of something like Invincible, Metal Gear Solid however I feel like doesn't need a show simply because of how good the story of the games was and how well MGS4 ended the franchise.

God of War would translate very well as a tv series with the same budget as say ROP or Game of thrones provided they respect the source material. MGS as well as a military espionage series as we have had plenty of successful properties before that.
