you can store your sprint by opening the menu, and then closing it while still holding the sprint button, you will instanly sprint

Just did this today and it definitely still works though it took a lot of time and a bit of learning of how you jump higher and further in Elden Ring. The amount of detail in this game is actually more impressive than I thought and I’ve already 100% the game and done several challenge runs so that’s saying something.

@@StarzXD10it can be, it’s just quite hard. The easy way I found to do it for me anyways was to just not think about it and stop trying to take it slow and just rush through and commit to the jumps instead of trying to hug the wall going around

the skip still works, i like to run arornd the noble before i set up my gear to get to the somber 7 early, so before sleeping pots become feasible for dps reasons. the jump has a slightly different animation when performed running into a wall. you have to jump WHILE running left. this triggers the slower jump animation, then you point the stick in front to give the direction. jumps at walls when performed this way increase the range.

Coming back to this and im struggling really hard to get up the face of the cliff on that final jump. Theres a point where youre able to stay put on that ledge to prep for the last leap there but my character just keeps sliding down back to the floor.

what I dont get is on the last jump everyone seems to get level with the three dots on the wall and are able to jump, I am always below the three dots and can slide off if I make any attempt at climb or I am far to low to make the jump or I slide off if I try to block

It's seriously super hard. Tried it on my last casual run and it took me like 30 minutes to hit it but I think I'm getting better. I'll try and make a tutorial explaining it better soon.
