@@ClaudeBieniek i'm saying people from different religions would say similar things about their god as well. religion is nothing more than meditations and self-reflection. all good things, but not anywhere where an imaginary being is necessary. you did all of that because of you and your desire to quit and felt "something" had your back. placebo effect. you taking yourself off drugs and alcohol was something that you accomplished bc you believed in yourself. that's awesome, just don't forget to pat yourself on the back as well. This is all saying without spewing out hours of information about how the bible is historically inaccurate. your strength resides in you, you were able to tap into it and come out on top. imaginary things had nothing to do with it other than give you emotional support.
