The problem with this shoot interview preview is that it makes Dennis Knight look like a bit of a down and out or something which is not true at all. He runs his own restaurant in Tampa, and not just some dive place at the side of the road either. In the interview, Knight does most of the talking but he's very funny. At one point, they're talking about how wrestling can break up relationships and Mark jokes, "Yeah, a lot of wrestlers end up leaving their wives, or in your case, your husband...", little laugh, Dennis retorts with " I never left him! *takes drink*" It's actually one of the better shoots I've seen.

I absolutely hated the original babyface Godwinn characters,but when they were re-packaged in 1997 as heels,in which they seemed to be modelled on the evil hillibillies from the movie 'Deliverance' i thought they were actually underutilized and had the potential to be one of the Attitude era's best tag teams.

desecrator1000 iirc,they used Henry's real life broken neck injury as a way of re-packaging them as heels when he was well enough to return to action. The tag roster back then was a complete mess wasn't it?. Scrubs like Disciples of Apocalypse,Savio Vega and Los Boriquas,the New Blackjacks,The Truth Commission, Ughhh. Those gang wars of 1997 were just hard to watch. lol

Well he retired from a neck injury in 98. I think when he tried a comeback he couldn’t get his neck issue in order and it became a major issue.

Him. Rodney Mack, Marty Jannetty, and a bunch of others were hired as developmental performers and coaches; I read at the behest of triple H. But eventually all were released. Marty didn’t work a match. Not sure about Henry & Rodney.

I met mark Canterbury at our hobby lobby here in Mercer county walking out one evening as I was walking in. I didn't recognize him, just a custom pic of the godwinns he was holding. I was like dude, that's a cool pic, he goes yep that's me man! I looked up and surely it was! I told him I was a fan of the attitude era and knew his character well. Can't stand wrestling now, But he is an awesome laid back guy. He lives maybe 30 mins away. I see him out and about every so often. Coolest wrestler I ever met!
