Godzilla King of the Monsters has become my all time favorite out of all the franchise's many movies. To a fan who has seen it all, that's saying alot out of an over 65 year old series. It did what the Godzilla Anime Trilogy failed to do and that is show heart and love to the franchise, it not only served as the beginning of the Reiwa era but also a loving tribute to its 65th anniversary. I hope Godzilla vs Kong can match this films success if not surpass it!

It’s sad nobody understands it and just hates it for being a dumb monster movie. It does have two metaphors, The Wrath of Nature and Spirituality of religion. People who hate this movie either don’t get the appeal of the movie and what it’s trying to tell or just sucking Endgame’s overrated taint. Godzilla represents the Balance of Nature, he brings balance and freedom to the natural order even if some lives are lost (Joe Brody, Bill Randa, Chapman, Vivienne Graham, Dr. Serizawa, and Andrew Russel). Mothra represents the gentle and benevolent side of nature, she protects and nurtures the world and it’s inhabitants, The beautiful Titan is like Mother Nature as she feeds the ecosystem with her milk. Rodan represents the powerful and uncontrollable side of Nature, He brings destruction and carnage to where ever he goes but new life is created from the ashes. And Ghidorah represents the malevolent and catastrophic side of Nature, he destroys and brings chaotic disasters to the world causing great wounds to the planet. One balances, one protects, one remakes, one destroys. A God and his Angel battle the Devil and his servant for the fait of the planet. However, an atheist will challenge him. (Kong)

Iv'e personally enjoyed all the new movies from Godzilla 2014, kong skull island all the way to Godzila vs kong, yes i enjoyed Kong vs godzila. I take it for what the films are, easy to follow action packed films about big monsters fighting each other and there good at what their doing and simply don't want it to change. And they also have a surprising amount of lore in the films for those who want to look for it.

i think people really underestimate just how profound Godzilla is as an icon, not of destruction but of perseverance which ties into why i think my favorite Godzilla film would have to be Shin Godzilla (2016) the nuclear topics that brought about original Godzilla feel like history more than anything; distant memories of generations before but with Shin Godzilla, it's more present, more tangible. i watched the tsunami wipe out entire towns, i watched the fukushima disaster unfold; people my age and in my time lived through that stuff and persevered j i love big ass monsters beating the mess out of each other just as much as the next guy, but the undertones, meaning, and significance are what really make Godzilla for me

7:24 It's worth noting, Dr. Stanton says "almost" in the film when he suggests Ghidorah's destruction is meant to terraform the Earth to his liking, and in the film's official novelisation, Mark speculates when considering the theory: "Or maybe Monster Zero just hated everything, and the destruction was a process, a goal in and of itself. Maybe he was a god - but there was nothing that said a god had to be sane." What we do know from the novelisation is that Ghidorah's apocalypse if he'd won would've caused an even more severe extinction event that the Permian-Triassic mass extinction.

Godzilla the true King of the monsters, I love it. Nothing on Kong but could he have taken on Ghidorah? Could he even think of taking on Destoroyah? It's easy to say Godzilla did it all by himself but he did need help with the Mutos, and Ghidorah. Godzilla is my all-time favourite monster ever but he's made and written this way to be Balanced. I can't wait for Godzilla vs Kong!
