I originally wanted a more serious (less 70’s) film for Final Wars. I 100% appreciate it more now than then. BUT this entire concept has the potential to be the biggest and most epic Godzilla film of all time- but I’m suggesting it be done with a longer run time and with less camp. Nothing would make me happier than Legendary focusing on an “MCU” like approach to the Monsterverse. Things should culminate in a huge film with a lot of Kaiju/Titans. And to pay homage to the source material- make it “Destroy All Monsters”, but fuse in the Destroyah narrative. It’s literally the perfect way to end the Monsterverse.

you gotta be at least a bit disappointed in Legendary studios for turning godzilla from an (almost) unbeatable animal who was hurt by nuclear testing from humanity. into some sort of hollywood action hero. GvK and GxK were never supposed to be created, kong and godzilla would never fight, its like putting a spartan warrior (Kong) against a modern soldier with an AR and grenades, and also has the spartan's armor(godzilla)

Fun fact: Final wars was actually supposed to be a sequel to Godzilla vs Destoroyah and FinalGoji would be a grown up Junior. It would be revealed that Destoroyah actually survived after GVD and would have been the final boss of the movie. However Toho decided to make the movie its own continuity.
