17 monsters, this will/can be the gold standard going forward for any Godzilla movies. This trailer just had me amazed as the kid who used to watch all the old Tokyo films on Saturday's. Oh an agree 110% on the start after all this....... after taking on most of these with King G himself.... Godzilla better WHIP Kong's a$$ quick fast and in a hurry to make up for that horrible 1960's version with Kong "winning." Horrible? Dude that movie was the shit in the 60’s. By today’s standards it’s cheesy yeah but it’s still one of the greatest classic monster fights of all time. You guys are just triggered Kong won. And seriously what is up with your hatred for him? Seriously! Is it because he won in the original? Or is it also because “oh he would just loose because he isn’t indestructible” excuse? And YES of course they had to give him a size buff and loads of extra durability to stand a chance against Godzilla. So excited for Godzilla resurgence. When Godzilla V Kong was released it had two endings. In Japan it showed Kong walking away in the water (retreating) with Godzilla roaring in triumph. In the American version it’s King roaring to insinuate that Kong was walking away after being victorious. So really... it was a draw? Also, I predict a huge brawl between the two then they team up to fight something bigger.

Okay for anyone wondering that why is Godzilla captured? My best guess using my knowledge on Godzilla, hes not actually in a prison, more that when he faught the Mutos he lost a lot of energy, they were going to use a nuke to replenish his energy, to free him of his restrictions, thats why his dorsal plates are freaking out, I'm not sure when the scenes are before or after the bomb part but my guess either they are pulsing so much because hes lacking all the energy or hes having to much, it's one or the other. Thats why when they say they'll join the fight they are going to use the nuke to give him a bit of a boost

Here is how I feel about trailers like these. Certain movies can't be spoiled, because its about an obvious thing so only the plot is nuanced. Godzilla is going to wreck it up. Monsters will devastate the earth. King Kong will be in the next movie. Just like the good ol classic Toho films. I know what I'm getting. I'm getting to see my childhood hero in action once again! They can't show me enough, I'd say. I will probably see this movie twice in theatres. Oh and just to add, this is actually based on the toho film featuring Rodan, Mothra, and Godzilla teaming up to fight Ghidorah. Helping in the story were humans being led by two psychic mini-twins that can speak to the monsters and translate. So....this is staying even truer to the toho films, and I already know the plot... so again. There is only everything to love about this.

Okay, there's going to be a fight early on in the movie between Godzilla and Ghidorah where he's released from the ice. Godzilla's going to lose that fight and possibly be injured by humans trying the oxygen destroyer thinking they can take out all the Kaiju. They realize that you Dora is alien and not affected by it so suddenly they're screwed so they need to find where Godzilla is recovering from his injuries and help him through some kind of radioactive explosion that's going to make him stronger than ever and allow him to fight Ghidorah. This movie is going to be epic destruction and absolutely incredible on the big screen.

In terms of sheer visusl spectacle, KotM crushes Endgame and RoS. But also, the big thing that KotM has that neither of the other two have is a true villain that is legitimately terrifying. Ghidorah is as much the main event as Godzilla.

Ok..let me get started. First yes this is the main event and here's why: these are the monsters everyone has been waiting for and grew up on to see on screen in a spectacle movie. I agree everyone should die because it keeps it realistic and it keeps it positve to at least for your earth you attempted to stop the inevitable and make a difference but lost in process but you fought. There is no way they can keep Godzilla captive so i hope they fix that statement as I'm with joe on this one. Lastly endgame is the ending of a trilogy as in Godzilla is a blockbuster movie and something we've never seen before so as for me its my anticipated.
