One of the reasons why Godzilla has endured, why he & his franchise has been around for longer than most of you reading this has been alive, is because no matter how many times he is beaten down, or even defeated, he gets back up. He never gives in. Your video showcased this point perfectly. I think we've all taken a lot of inspiration from that over the years. The fact that Godzilla never gives up. That even in defeat, he somehow seems to always come back & come back even better and stronger than before. Plus, like I said, Godzilla & his films have been around longer than most of us have been alive. He has, in some way, always been there for us. I can't tell you how many times during my life I'd be having a really bad day, then I get home and there's a Godzilla movie on TV. And sitting down to watch whatever Godzilla movie was on would then take my mind off of all of my problems instantly. And I know so many other fans who have had that same exact experience. Godzilla has endured. His film franchise is the longest running film franchise in film history. He never backs down, never gives up, always picks himself up after every defeat and comes back even stronger for it. He had always been there for us & he always will be. He will outlive us all. For all those reasons (and so many more), he is the one, true King of all the Monsters. Being a King isn't just about wins and losses, it's about that, everything I mentioned above and so much more. Long live the one, true King.

What started as a film about nuclear radiation and its repercussions, has become so much more. Godzilla has fought all kinds of monsters, monsters from space, from under the water, and even ones made from the minds of men like the Mechas. He always fought and made it out victorious cuz he never gave up and learned as he fought. But one thing that always stood out is that he was smarter then he looked/looks. He won against King Ghidora in the Original movie cuz he decided fighting him was more important then his grudge match against Rodan thanks to Mothra. In KOTM he won cuz of his bond to Mothra and the help of the humans. Then in GVK, even though they had been enemies the whole movie, Godzilla knew Mecha Godzilla was the bigger threat and knew teaming up with King Kong (I consider him King Kong from the moment he sat in the throne.) and even made an improvised plan and remembered how King Kong's Ax absorbed his Atomic fire and used it to his advantage to allow King Kong to get the upper hand in the fight and win, and in the end they both knew they were in no shape for another round so they called a truce and went their separate ways, kings of two separate worlds. I will never not be a fan of Big G. He is, has been, and always will be the one true King Of The Monsters. All Hail, and long live, the King.

I so wish that someday they make a trilogy about the past when there were more than one Godzilla, and the Kong species. Back when the Hollow Earth was filled with these Titans, and tell the story of their rivalry when the Kongs had to hunt the Godzillas like pack animals, and then show when Monster Zero first arrived on Earth, which is what I believe drew most of the monsters out of Hollow Earth and up to the surface. That would be truly epic, and it wouldn't have to have so many people characters to mess the film up. That probably will never happen, but one can hope, and imagine it at least!

I thought and wanted that the new series of films made by Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures would only be four films, including the famous Godzilla trilogy with the 2014 film, King of the Monsters and vs Kong, and that after Warner Bros/ Legendary will stop and move on. But here we fall into the dangers that affect current Blockbusters, namely exploiting well-known franchises without taking any more risks and stretching the rope too much with endless stories. For me the Godzilla franchise should take a well-deserved little break.

Godzilla deserved to be bowed to so much at the end of King of the Monsters. He is the one true alpha, and a good one too. But as with all kings, there will be others there who would want ot challenge him for the throne. As the old saying goes, "Heavy is the head that wears the crown." Being king is a big responsibility, but the big guy already know this. However, he'll be ready and waiting for the challenges to come. Edit: One thing I noticed from many of the comments here is something I truly agree on. These word, after seeing Godzilla’s coronation in KOTM always make me choke up when I think or say them: *Long Live/All Hail the One True King!*

Godzilla, earned his title as the god of destruction in his debut in 1954, became the king of the monsters in the 70s-80s, came back to destroy Tokyo in 1984, fought Biollante in 1989, came back to face his nemesis king Ghidorah in 1991, fought his space version in 1994, but then sadly perished in 1995. But….. he emerged yet again in 1998 as Zilla, then in 1999, emerged yet again in Godzilla 2000 millennium and one year later killed Megaguirus. Then emerged yet again in the legendary period to face the M.U.T.O.S, Ghidorah, kong, and MechaGodzilla and beat them all. The king has had many difficulties, but emerged victorious from them all. LONG LIVE THE TRUE ALPHA!!!!!!!!!!
