Uh, for the information on Godzilla versus Megalon...I saw it when it aired on NBC. It was in English, not Japanese. I did see the John Belushi segments and bumpers on KZbin some years ago but it looks like NBC or someone had them removed.

Perhaps your mistaking it for the SNL sketch with Barbara Wawa? If the Megalon clips were uploaded to KZbin - someone would have saved it for sure.

13:24 Actually, Godzilla and Batman did finally crossover in 2023's Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, and as far as I can tell, the comic series is going to be ending later this year. Just thought I'd put this out there.

Good video, but you seem to have mispronounced a few kaiju names. The "dan" part of Rodan's name should be pronounced the same way you would pronounce the name "Dan." A similar rule should apply to the "gan" part of Gigan's name, except the d would obviously be swapped out with a g. You pronounced both g's in Gigan's name correctly though, so that's good. Also, the "g" in Angilas should be pronounced the same as the "g" in Godzilla's name. This also applies to Angilas's current name, Anguirus. Other than that, the video seemed to have been well researched, and the use of the level complete screen in Super Godzilla for each transition into a different piece of lost media was a nice touch.

Ah yes, people are still mispronouncing Ishiro Honda as INOshiro Honda, we really haven't learned since the sixties, but overall great video!

Haha, sorry about that. Lost Media Wiki had his name written as "Inoshiro" on their page about the cow scene. I didn't see the proper spelling until after audio was recorded. Thanks for watching!

The Belushi premiere was NOT the Japanese original, it was the Cinema Shares edit of the international English dub. No clue where you got the idea that anyone was showing Godzilla movies in their original form in ANY capacity whatsoever in the US in the feckin' 1970's... but that's incredibly false. Also Batman Meets Godzilla isn't "lost" media, it's nonexistant media, it was never produced. Same applies to the Volcano Monsters, it was never made, it can't be lost if it never existed in the first place. Also, King Geedora is the best M.I.C., and 2 & 3 have gotta be Kongcrete and Kamackeris. Rodan's legit but... c'mon man, this is MF Doom we're talkin' about here.

The Turbo Duo is the American version of the Japanese console PC Engine Duo, so it doesn't make sense to call it an American console, especially when talking about a game that saw release only in Japan. It's also far from being considered one of the best games for that console.

2:12 the may '95 issue of Nintendo power said it's release date was a month ago?

That's right! Nintendo Power did reviews of games that had already been out for months, that same issue also had reviews for games released in February/March. So the implication is that the game was already supposed to be released by then.
