It was so worth seeing this movie in theaters! It was such a surreal experience ❤ definitely one of if not the best Godzilla movie I have ever seen in my life! This movie a so deserved the Oscar!! That's Godzilla's OG Theme created by Akira Ifukube the one you might have heard was by Bear McReary who paid tribute to Akira Ifukube Godzilla's theme has been a staple in all Toho Godzilla Movies If Godzilla was ticked off before they rammed a plane into his mouth he's gonna be more ticked off once he fully regenerates I'm not sure if you have a patreon so we can submit suggestions or you're cool with suggestions but i recommend Godzilla GMK Giant Monsters All Out Attack, you'll notice certain similarities between this movie and that movie

Fun fact: Takashi Yamazaki the director of this film is a big fan of Godzilla, he also featured Godzilla as cameo in "Always: Sunset on Third Street" on 2005 and he is the director of "Godzilla the Ride: Giant Monsters Ultimate Battle" which have same design for Godzilla in this film

About the neck thing: when she was blown into the wind during the blast, she got infected with Godzilla's cells so has G Cells in her body (think radioactive cancer on steroids). She'll live, but not for long and her life will be... PAINFUL. Very bittersweet.

Godzilla 2014 had its own soundtrack but with King of The Monsters having official licensing from Toho for other kaiju it seemed obvious they had to do a throwback to the old Goji theme, and it's been that way ever since even with the Kong crossovers. My favorite track has to be Old Rivals from kotm when they first met in Antarctica.

I dont know your history with Godzilla films but it seems like you are referring to mostly Monsterverse Godzilla. Godzilla was created in Japan. Toho is very well know for creating giant monster movies or known in Japan as Kaiju films. The first Godzilla film was made in 1954. Godzilla's origin is that he is a dinosaur creature that was either reawakened or mutated from the bombing in Japan back in 1945. Godzillas appearance is suppose to look like the victims of the bombing where their flesh were rotting and emitting radiation as well as why Godzilla has an atomic breath (heatwave in this film). This movie you can say is suppose to be a soft remake of the very first film Of course over the years, it got ridiculous and crazy but Godzilla always means something in every film even if its the dumbest piece of crap u ever heard. Godzilla can be a good guy or the bad guy depending on the story u got. Up to today, he has 39 films total so either way, the big g has been around and will continue to be around.

Godzilla Minus One isn't just "the best Godzilla movie" Godzilla Minus One is a GREAT movie that happens to have Godzilla in it! Replace Godzilla with a natural disaster and this movie would STILL be great!

ITS VERY RARE that the very name sake of the movie is actually a secondary character, to the human characters because how well written the characters were and development. That instead of us cheering for Godzilla we actually cheered for the humans ! and the score was another character in the movie; the levels the score took this movie was epic!!! and purposeful

the Godzilla soundtrack is a really popular track. I've heard the track on youtube shorts, tiktok and other medias, it's been used to various video not just godzilla related videos. to explain the title: after world war 2, japan was back to "0". they are essentially clinging to anything they have and slowly rebuilding and godzilla showing up in japan is a threat that can destroy the remaining things they have. basically godzilla threatens them to go from "0" to "minus 1".
