I saw this movie yesterday and i loved it man it blows my mind this movie only cost 15 million dollars mean while Hollywood burns hundreds of millions of dollars on garbage disposal products that are so forgettable Hollywood needs to learn from godzilla minus one

Saw this Movie last Thursday man what a movie I’m not much of the original Godzilla movie but this movie really surprised me. It actually made me care about the human sub plot which it’s hard to do for Godzilla movies and I actually put it in my top 10 movies of the year this year maybe even Top 5

I loved this movie. One of the best Godzilla movies. I recommend checking out the original Godzilla 1954 movie as it really adds to this movie

I dont want to be the debbie downer about the film, but i dont think i would want this in my collection. I love the acting, and that its set in post war Japan, but our protagonist is so beaten down mentally, i just don't want to relive the experience. I get living the devastation and shame of defeat, would be horrific but honestly this character is so down i could see him ending himself before ever linking up with his fellow survivors. Adding in the fact that he didnt act to save his fellow soldiers at the start, i just dont want to go down that road again. I love some movies with very grim outlooks like Hacksaw Ridge, the BoB miniseries or a Chernobyl so im not sure what soured me on this. The realism is fine. i guess i just wanted for more escapism when it comes to the big guy (gogira).

Great Review bro! Yeah this one was the one to go see! godzilla was no joke in here. I loved it. Yeah the CG on some of the builing stuff was sus.

I will be watching this for sure!!! Thanks for a great review David! As someone who is not spoiled by spoilers, I read the entire plot on Wikipedia and it amazed me! The human element of the story is something I'm looking forward to see! Of course, I also like to see Godzilla destruction and mayhem too! LOL! Also, I prefer watching foreign films with English subtitles because it's weird for me to hear them speak in English-dubbed voices. You should also check out the 1954 original from Toho. It's a very dark and serious film unlike the other ones that came after and got more sillier. I think it is still on Max along with other Toho Godzilla films.

Easily the best Godzilla film ever! THe Monsterverse movies... I mean. 1& 2 are ok. most of the characters suck. the action has little to no tension. most importantly I hate the American Godzilla design. it just sucks. bland, fat dumb looking.
