I could have sworn the spikes on his back retracted once he unleashed his breath. Like a gun cocking then the hammer laying down. Another small bit I enjoyed about the film was how each time he used his breath it was, essentially, an atomic bomb going on. Good review. Enjoy watching fans talking about the stuff they love.

Yes! I saw it a 2nd time and Godzilla's spikes do retract after being used. The atomic bomb effects were incredible

Great review bro! I really enjoyed it as well and for me I really didn't notice too many of the cgi imperfections. I thought it looked great and was a lot better than Shin Godzilla in certain scenes. I'm sure I'll notice some when I take it in again after another rewatch. Him as a Godzillasurus in the beginning really took me off guard and made me jump too lol

I saw it a 2nd time on a smaller screen and I think the cgi looked a good bit better, also, now Im used to the way he moves and I think it looks better

This movie absolutely blew me away! Not only was the Godzilla action sequences incredibly intense and suspenseful while being a spectacle of fun, but the characters they developed in the story were actually enjoyable and well fleshed out. I was enthralled the entire time. It is one of my favourites of the year! Great review, and keep up the great work on creating your awesome content, guys 👍

First → Godzillasaurus (quick movement) After being bombed → Godzilla (slow due to armor hardening)

That makes sense. But even the bigger Godzilla moved fast sometimes.

@@GiantMunsties Thank you for your reply. Please understand that this is just a fantasy. Even people covered in armor can perform reflex movements momentarily. Godzilla has an iceberg-like body shape, which allows him to float on the surface of the ocean. (Like a steel ship)

i hated how Godzilla walked sooo slow

Really?! I think slow Godzilla is best because he's heavy and I think it makes it look more realistic when you see death slowly walking towards you.
