I honestly do not understand why Hollywood spends 90% of their money on CGI for their movies, While Godzilla Minus One feels like they did half & half. Half of the the Godzilla Sequence was cgi and Half of the movie looks like it done by real stunts & no green screen at all. I have 3 guesses on why hollywood spends 90% of their money on cgi. 1. Maybe they just don't have the resources to do what Minus One did. 2. They do not want their actors & actresses getting hurt while preforming stunts. 3. Possibly the companies that are helping The Director with the movie are probably negotiating to have the money be spent on cgi forcefully. "But i may be wrong here"

The macaque is unlikely to think of lowering it to the bottom of the ocean using oxygen bubbles...The monkey will instantly burn up if Godzilla shoots him with his nuclear beam...It was made clear to us at the end that despite the fact that he was literally torn to pieces after freezing, he still did not die. As with the t1000 from Terminator 2, where, being torn to pieces, it will reassemble into a single organism. Even the pressure of the ocean won't kill him, where a monkey would get crushed...Godzilla Minus One won... :)
