I meant to create this months ago when Singular Point was released but got caught up with the busyness of life and focusing on my Bride Of Godzilla stop motion project. As they say better late than never though! I designed the subtitles to treat this as a anime alternate version of the Heisei era with a resurrected super powered version of Gojira 1954 set in 1996 and animated with my favorite style of anime, the golden era! (1960s-early 2000s)

Lol yeah to be totally honest after I finished sp I kinda felt frustrated, I'd give it a 6 outta 10. I really wish we got a Goji anime in the 1980s or somewhere throughout the golden era of anime, dream series edit right here lol

It focuses WAY TOO MUCH ON SCIENCE Some of the kaiju are too small Godzilla having forms was better in shin, because the forms are actually not based ON TITANOSAURUS, VARAN AND GOROSAURUS Jet Jaguar has a bit too much screentime They retconed Gabara for a new kaiju, Salunga and the Megalon-Like beings with Hedorah inside them as "Kumonga".

Once again, just like the anime trilogy movies, I think I am one of only a few people who actually loved Godzilla Singular Point! So I was super excited when I saw this! And as usual with these retro style trailer edits of yours, this was phenomenal! If this was an actual thing that came out back in the day, I could see it being a nostalgic classic, like Evangelion or something like that. I'm always impressed with these, I can only imagine all the time it took to find all those clips and edit this! Bravo!

I liked it to a point (pun intended lol) but honestly felt frustrated after I watched it in one sitting due to it focusing on too many other things besides the central characters and the kaiju. I do want a sequel though, 6/10 for me. Thank you so much man! @@ShinGoji1987Official Hey well, if you didn't watch it on Netflix and used other "sites", (like I, and many others did), the subtitles where done by a fans and whatnot, and weren't entirely accurate. Leading many to be confused. If this happens to be the case for you, watch the Netflix ver. so the show is more clear, that may help? I get your point though. They still focussed on alot of other stuff. And in an anime consisting of 13 episodes, I swear Godzilla only gets one full episodes worth of screen time in an anime where hes the title charac- er, I mean monster. However, I thought Jet Jaguar was great, Godzilla looked great, definately in one of my top 5 Godzilla designs. I thought his atomic breath looked awesome, the whole monster from another plane of existence thing or whatever was also awesome, interesting take on a Godzilla origin. And the red tornado/storm thingy that formed around was really cool. I like the style of 1980s anime, really sticks out. That's what made this trailer edit here really fun for me.

@@Blotzwave I watched it on Netflix with the English dub, when it's finally released on bluray I'll definitely watch it in Japanese. I understood it for the most part, dealing with specific points in time which can cause things to happen in the present. The idea of Goji always being able to will himself back into existence even from death was a epic idea! I just wish it was a bit more simplified and it focused more on the Jet Jaguar team, like the cute gothic chan, etc. The main guy actually meeting the main girl in person sooner but I'm sure we'll get more of them together for a season 2. I liked Jet too, he was like Mazinger z lol just like I had in my trailer. I just think he should have had a man's voice minor nitpick I know lol. Heck yeah, I love it, especially that most of it was hand drawn. I liked Goji's final form too, very shin like but with a more normal skin etc.

I swear she only got like 4 minutes of screen time across the entire show. Well interestingly enough, that show was put into production a few years ago, right after Shin Godzilla. Probably hoping to hop on the "mutating form Godzilla" hype. I thought the main characters where fine, could use some more depth. Hey so tommorrow, Jan 9th, is the 3 year anniversary of Godzilla: The Planet Eater. (That movie I love but no one else does lol) Makes me think, will you maybe one day make a retro style trailer for that movie in the future? That would be incredible.

Although I'm not a big fan of Godzilla transforming to other forms, seems to be more of a trait for his enemies it does make the stories a bit more interesting. I liked the original anime trilogy too, a little bit more than this one. That would definitely be very challenging but I'll consider it. I'll have to try and find more clips of old school animated Goji and Ghidorah

Goode Worke Olde Sporte. Love that 80s/90s OAV style. Mazinger Z and Urotsukidoji Vs Gojira? Sounds like a weird comic crossover like Transformer Vs Mazinger Z or Robotech Voltron. Good use of the Eyepatch Dr clip. Here's a question though: Who would win a death match? Mazinger Z or Eva 01? I never really saw Evangelion but think Mazinger could take it.

Heyo, I'll remove this comment once it's served it's purpose, but since you're an absolute wizard at finding clips from various pieces of media in order to put together retro style trailers, I was hoping I could get your assistance? I've been putting together a retro style trailer myself, but Im trying to find any clip that consists of scary-ish mechanical looking beings coming up out of the ground. (Preferably ground with little or no vegetation, just bare like a desert) I have no idea where to obtain something like this, and I'm looking for it in the era style of 70s-90s cartoon or anime in order to match.. If you had any suggestions of what could match that obscure criteria, please let me know? Thanks. And meanwhile, rewatching this again was as awesome as the first time I did, I love it.

No worries man! Sounds awesome! I can't really remember off the top of my head but Getter Robo and Mazinger z might. The channel Retro Crush has clips of tons of old anime with lots of mech ones too. They have a watermark on their videos but in most cases the whole old animes are uploaded to yt on different channels. Most are done in full screen but I use the pan and zoom editing option to make them widescreen. Looking forward to your video edit bro! Awesome, thanks for watching again!

The edit I'm working on isn't Godzilla related, rather a retro trailer of Transformers 3, since it had it's 10 year anniversary last summer and I love that movie. Yeah I first saw that anime when I was 18 and it was honestly one of the most disturbing animes I have ever seen. But it does feature some great animation, good character designs and city smashing kaiju scenes. That's why I used it, thanks for watching
