Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah II (Stop Motion Fan Film)

For 212 years, Godzilla terrorizes the world. In the year 2204, Emmy Kano pleads on behalf of her ancestors to revive King Ghidorah as Mecha King Ghidorah. Inadvertently, she travels to a different timeline, where Final Wars Godzilla is engaged in a ferocious battle against the Gotengo and humanity. What follows is the battle of the centuries, Godzilla Vs. Mecha King Ghidorah!

This was amazing! This may be your best work. For starters, I love tge FW esque intro. It really set the mood of the video and built interest. Second, the 3d on the humans were really well handled. They move naturally and feel like actual living people. But the monster stuff is where things really shine. As to be expected from you, the action was extremely raw and physical, with some very dynamic angles. I like how you didn't just copy a past fight from one of the movies. Mecha King Ghidorah and the Gotengo working together was so nice to see. There's so much more I could say but I feel this comment is long enough. Hahaha So I'll just end it by saying I thoroughly enjoyed this and I'm glad to see my FW Godzilla put to good use.

really good, really fun, love the mix of 3d animation and stop motion sometimes the effects are a bit much for me and the camera got a tad bit too shaky for my tastes, tho overall it's still very well made

I love this so much! The plot and stop motion is excellent, same with the effects. I do think the use of Anime 3d models was a little jarring but the (i assume ai cloned) voice acting more than made up for it! 10/10

This is such an awesome short! I love the concept of MechaKingGhidorah going through space and time. It’s such a far out idea and is a cool way to introduce a multiverse. Your stop motion animation, as well as the 3D animation is done so well! Whoever you got for the voice acting are also a great fit, they sound so alike! Killer animation overall!

Hey thanks so much man! I appreciate all the praise! The voices are so similar because they are AI cloned voice samples. I go back and forth on wanting to use AI, but I can’t deny that it is an extremely convenient and affordable method for a hobbyist such as myself to have good voice acting.

Welcome back to the ring, the quality of your stop motions has been sorely missed. Hope the process wasn't too arduous. LOVE the idea of Emi's time travel shenanigans having consequences. It's an area that needs further exploration and I'm glad you spear headed it. Please continue messing around with combining animation mediums, it's a really unique way of portraying and featuring human characters! Although (not a knock by any stretch), I will admit seeing Persona models did take me off guard for a hot minute, haha. My only pointer in that regard is maybe tinker with their head and facial features a bit, if at all possible. No worries if not. The stop motion animation itself shows you haven't lost that touch. And well done for even attempting to animate MKG, it's a rare character to see around these parts of KZbin. Love to see it. The Final Wars style intro is awesome. Please keep using non-Ifukube music as much as possible going forward, it's such a real breath of fresh air you have no idea. In regards to the voices, not a bad shout using the Omni-productions Heisei dub lines. Information and production details around those dubs are soo obscure, and most likely everyone involved moved on a lifetime ago - so if A.I was used, I think you picked a good middle ground area to base it from.

I always appreciate your thoughtful comments. The mix of genuine feedback and praise is EXTREMELY welcome. I have been dabbling in 3D animation since December now, and I definitely want to incorporate more of it into my more complex stop motion productions. I think it would be out of place for vinyl figure videos, but for projects like this I think it works well. (I love the Persona series, and the models have a million different outfits to choose from. I just like to think they have been hired on as actors haha.) I don’t currently have the skill to edit the models in any meaningful way, but it is something I’d be interested in learning how to do.

@@MoorezillaFilms Just being honest. Actually want stuff like this to thrive and do well. Makes sense on both counts. VERY good points on the outfits. My friends and I went through 4 Golden and nearly finished 5 Royal, and the amount of model decals is pretty vast - so the returning actors angle? Fair. Either way, your on a good track with using 3D animation.

sorry I thought that my comment got through and I guess it didn't. This was incredible! I am so impressed with the combination of stop-motion and visual FXs. I am really impressed with the fighting choreographed..there is sometimes like a blurring effect which makes it look really intense and the camera moves all around just like KOTM 19!!!
