Because he hasn't intentionally done it before in the MONSTERVERSE. Key phrase. In the Monsterverse they've been building him up as a protector of the Earth and mother nature. While yes in saying that, he's no friend of humanity, it would seem that Serizawa's sacrifice did earn a modicum of respect for humans from him. I seriously don't understand how you people keep missing that. If the Monsterverse built him up as a villainous force that intentionally attacks cities and all that, much like his usual Japanese counterpart then sure. But that hasn't been the case.

@@rador3573 actually Godzilla can turn into that mode again he just has to get enough radiation level. Mothra was just a boost cause remember that every kaiju has a 25% radiation . Example Godzilla vs Mech G ll in the 19 rodan gave Godzilla A boost so he coud activate that red beam of his . Another example Burning Godzilla vs Destroyah Godzilla generate a huge amount of radiation putting him into the burning G mode wich we all know.
