The 3D was pretty okay. I think Kong Skull Island still has the best 3D, and is the best of the four Monsterverse movies. Though in this movie, there is a visual that works better in 3D than 2D - Kong's forest dome has digital panels, and in 3D you can see that they are autostereoscopic, as the forest in the panels has 3D depth to help further push the illusion to Kong (not that it works) that the dome extends further.

I agree completely with your assessment of Godzilla versus con. I really enjoyed the movie, I've watched it several times and I enjoyed the 3D even though it wasn't perfect it had some great parts and I think four is an appropriate number for it. If you need some more recommendations on 3D Blu-rays to purchase I have a whole list. If you do just reach out on your next video and let us know and I will send you some more. If not, then just keep up the great work! I still think you should get "the wall in 3D and do a review on Edge of Tomorrow live die repeat that you haven't done yet.

Yeah, I’ve heard quite a few people, 3D Blu Ray Bunker included, describe the films 3D as essentially pretty average. And true, it’s not quite as fun in 3D as say Kong Skull Island. But I honestly still had a good time with this one and think it’s 3D doesn’t get quite enough credit. The in screen depth makes it look like your looking directly into the large scale fighting and helps the film overall feel much more engaging. It’s one of those cases where counting floating rocks that protrude the screen feels kinda besides the point because the movie’s environment, a little like Avatar, just lends itself naturally to 3D. I should certainly get a review of this movie out soon and discuss it further. But all in all, yeah, we’re about on the same page with the 3D being great. I just think maybe I would’ve given it a 4.25 or possibly even a 4.5. As for the film itself, I also agree. The dialogue is pretty wooden. But when the movie needs to deliver, it most certainly delivers.

I continue to love the channel Tommy, great content. Quick one I followed your lead a few years back and got the same Optoma projector as yourself following your recommendations. For a modestly price projector I have nothing but praise for it, never the less I wondered if you'd considered upgrading to a modestly priced 4k 3D projector, if so which one?

Saw this in 2D. I really enjoyed your review Tommy, but, for me, out of the 4 monsterverse movies, this is the only one I didn’t like. It’s not in 3D, but have you seen Godzilla Minus 1? I really liked it.

I know the neon lights were a new thing they used in this film to light the monster fight between Godzilla and Kong because I big complain in the last few zilla films were that it was too dark. What's your opinion on the 3D version of that scene?

I have had the opportunity to see many movies in 3D, including the 2 of the avatar saga, and a person to whom I invited to see minions monsters university in 3D, that person had the nerve to tell me that 3D is overrated, to which I invited her to see avatar at the imax 3D hfr cinema, he went crazy, he told me to forgive him for his words because he had never seen a work of art in 3D as are those of avatar, is what surely you also face when you want to share your passion for 3D.
