They may have spoiled it was 'mecha godzilla' but it wasn't mecha godzilla, it was mecha ghidorah. Because ghidorah uploaded into the machine an took over it as they were using his brain to run it. So it was not mecha godzilla, it was mecha ghidorah an not a lot of folks are mentioning that. An it was seen where it was a mecha pretending to be godzilla, in the old ones the aliens had mechag covered in false flesh to trick people which is what a lot of folks were thinking was going to be done here too

I loved that so much. I kind of hate Joe and the gangs interpretation of throwing the axe down, I honestly think they read it wrong. The last movie had all the monsters bowing to Zilla. This movie had Rebecca Hall saying "neither of these guys bow to ANYONE." If they wanted Kong to "submit" they would have had him bow. Throwing down the axe isn't about Kong submitting. The axe is about Kong and his relationship with the little girl, and the fact that he trusts her more than anything. Kong looked willing to fight to the death, but his little friend told him Zilla was cool. So the axe bit is more about trusting her than anything.

Today I learnt that when the US nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki and occupied Japan they censored all news about the nuclear fallout. Don't treat JPN as some wholesome shit. Look up Nanking, Unit 731 that makes the Nazis blush. US was VERY light on Japan with their war crimes, but they still act as a victim. It was either A bombs or a full scale invansion that would extend WW2 and bring even more deaths than the A Bomb and might even cause a North Korea like scenario (ie North Japan, Soviets, and South Japan, USA) since the Soviets repelled JPN's forces in China and began invading, which spooked JPN into surrendering. The US, even gave JPN multiple hints about the Atomic Bombs and told them to surrender, but they just kept putting their fingers in their ears.
