i didn't like it. i love the 4 MAD MAX movies, but FURIOSA was boring and not fun to watch. yes, boring, despite all the action. the bad VFX took away all the impact of the action, because i was constantly reminded of the fact that i was watching stuff shot in front of a greenscreen. one of the coolest things about the MAD MAX movies always used to be the realism. FURIOSA has no realism, no verisimilitude. and on top of that, it had no story. things just happen in a history-book-like fashion. but there's no story arc, no goal, and therefore no tension. Furiosa doesn't have a goal to achieve. gettng her revenge isn't a goal that works as a story, if she just stumbles from one situation into the next. it doesn't make me care. there's nothing at stake. Dementus doesn't even know she exists anymore. oh, and then there's the music, or lack thereof. FURY ROAD had such an awesome score. but in FURIOSA, lots of the action scenes hardly have any music at all, and it doesn't work. when there is music during the action it plays almost inaudibly in the background, and it's just a weak rehash of the FURY ROAD score. it doesn't have a BANG. even the Doof Warrior just hangs around silently in the background in one scene. and yes, i saw it on a big screen with great sound. the movie just didn't do anything with its music track. overall, very disappointing. not gonna add this one to my MAD MAX blu-ray set.

Shame they didn't show much of the engravings on the side of the war rig. That thing looked beautiful! And I kept on hoping they'd do a slow pan to give us a good look at the details on it, but alas.

Give George Millar a camera and let Margaret Sixel do the editing, that is a sure fire way to get an Oscar and to think, the both of them are married, hopefully they get another Oscar for editing on this film like Fury Road did back in 2016!

Last movie was awful it was a car chase scene the whole movie. Hope this one is more of an actual movie with story

I really liked this movie. It's definitely badass, but I was really disappointed by the ending. Spoilers--------They had all this build up then literally go, "there were so many wars, and now there is the 40 day wasteland war." Then the war was glossed over in 1 minute. I also wasn't a fan of how they ended Dementus. For me 8/10.

How can you review a movie if you haven't watch the previous Trilogy?

You guys are stupid dude. This movie was terrible. Everyone is praising the world building, it didn't build anything. Yes, you saw the different "towns" that they had, but it was all superficial, you didn't even see a lot of the towns aside from the wide shot. It was all just, guys riding dirt bikes through the desert, and no one knows why, or how? It was complete nonsense, and the movie was bad.

Do not listen to CGI whiners, it is not polished but it's far from worst.. this movie is fking immaculate

could have given him a white beard and a better wig and costume and car eyes and a visible yet hidden scar...if you are not willing to invest money into the looks of your main character...then don't bother making this series.

I think this movie has been edited to prioritise the smoothness of narration. There's no way a young Furiosa could have survived undetected to adulthood in the community without help and the Wives are probably the ones that hid her. But there were absolutely no scenes hinting this. The big disappointment for the general audience is the lack of even a montage scenes of the 40 Days War. An aerial view of those large hordes of bikers attacking the Citadel would be nice. Not everybody who watches this movie know about Mad Max and scenes from Fury Road in the credits probably puzzled them even more, leaving them with a dissatisfied feeling at the end. This gig is probably an easy paycheck for ATJ, she's not in it 1/3 of the time and in another 1/3 she's masked up, leaving just her big wide-spaced eyes to do most of her acting.

Some parts of this movie were very hard to watch because it was disgusting or shocking, then there were moment I couldn't take my eyes from the screen as the acting or visuals were that good. In short I loved it.
