The first one seems to be in an Ocean with the ships and we see Kong jump into the water to dodge Godzilla’s atomic breath. Godzilla has every single advantage in water based combat. Kong will lose that fight or be saved by the humans or simply spared. Godzilla 1-0. The second fight seems to be on land and a lot more even but the trailer implies Godzilla to be reckless and enraged for some reason and attacking humans so I think he will be a major adversary for Kong the entire time until Kong finds some means to even the fight as shows with that crazy axe-thing. Godzilla will win most of the fights until Kong gets some sort of amp towards the end of the movie where they break even or maybe MechaGodzilla will come in but Trailers simply love to lie so I doubt Kong will actually do as well as they’re suggesting

The humans put Kong to sleep so Godzilla wouldn't sense him but clearly he wakes up and shit goes down. Kong goes and gets axe, Godzilla still flipping out. Kong comes back, fight happens, deflects atomic breath, gets knocked out. MechaGodzilla appears to 'finish' a weaker godzilla, nearly succeeds but Kong comes to the rescue and the two work together to defeat MechaGodzilla and call it a truce.

In the post credit's scene from Godzilla, King of Monsters, the Terrorist guy took the Gidorah head thay fell to the water on antartica, so they are making a mechagodzilla with it. Also we can se in one of the sin that the son of serizawa(i dont know how to write it) is standing in front of a screen with a drawing of Mechagodzilla and a 100%. Probably they are using that thing to control Godzilla, so yeah, about Kong, he probably made that axe in the underworld, with one of Dagons dorsal plates and a bone of those flying snakes(i dont know the name :)))) also probably they are trying to use godzilla as a gun and kong is trying to stop it, but yeah, its just a theory Also, mechagodzilla maybe is gonna team uo with godzilla but i dont know.

So the Godzilla that Kong is fighting in the trailer is obviously more than likely Mecha in disguise. And don't let the trailer fool you....only showed Kong getting his licks in. Guarantee Kong will struggle many times and when he's almost down for the count....Godzilla is gonna come out of nowhere and whoop some ass saving Kong at that moment

@@jaycardcast I think this might be not true! Hear this.... Some Fan theory- All of the battle scenes in the water are between Kong and Mechagodzilla! Yes you heard right! He's the one who is going crazy and killing people and destroying cities. Kong fights him and kinda loses. But then comes the next part, in history the original godzilla had clashes with Kong's parents I guess. So the monarch leads kong to this devine place ( hollow earth theory) where the ancestors had made the weapon to fight against him ( the scene where Kong puts his hand on a symbol like painting). Why hollow earth , cause you can see when Kong fights with the snake like monsters in the background you can see inverted mountains in the sky. So now Kong with the weapon fights with Mechagodzilla in the city. This where OG Godzilla arrives and fights along side with Kong! At last they two OGs kinda have mutual respect for each other and keep distance. So then Kong goes to the Hollow Earth world and rules there making him the "King Kong" while Godzilla remains above and protects humans! If you love this theory! ❤️❤️👍

Speaking of Ghidorah, you're right, that head that Godzilla tore off and the fisherman found at the end of the movie, Apex is using that severed ghidorah heads brain waves to control Mechagodzilla. That's why Godzilla is reacting, he senses it when while they try to boot it up. The battle on the ship was an accident, they weren't supposed to fight.

Basically, in a few spots in the trailer you can see Mechagodzilla. Godzilla is provoked by it and is now turning against humans because he thinks they are betraying him. The axe Kong uses is from an ancient war, and is built using the dorsal spine of Godzilla (or someone from his race?)
