My opinion is that Kong was essentially out of practice in gvk. He went decades on Skull Island without a proper challenge. Meanwhile, there are plenty of titans in the hollow earth that could give him a challenge. Because of this, he has been able to shake off the rust and get back to top form again in the years between GVK and GXK.

@@omegaprime9794 Yeah. By the time he became an adult there wasn’t much on skull island that could challenge him aside from camazotz. So hollow earth is the perfect place for him to gain more xp and become stronger and hone up his skills. Btw- your comment about King Kong vs Tiamat is probably what a big majority of the fandom needed to hear. Powerscalers think that due to their calculations they can tell how things will go and the worth of each titan, when they forget that they’re not the ones in charge of how it will go, but the storyteller’s. It’s only a verdict by their end and not the final word. Regarding the match itself- I view it as either a stalemate or a technical W for King Kong. Both are valid
