Im pretty sure godzilla just f'd off after they fell into the water and both went the hell home. Kong didn't want to fight anymore and godzilla didn't either. But the incarnation of godzilla he fought was hardly the big G's best or even moderate varient, the showa area goji who was not linked to the version he fought would of killed kong. Hesei would take kong, any version no contents. Millienum would take him too. The only godzilla kong could beat fairly, without it being dumbed down is the 98 zilla. And that one might still kill him. There is a reason why godzilla has more films then kong does, godzilla is adaptable and can be turned into whatever the individual wants for their film. A giant monkey is a little hard to sell in terms of it being anything other than a monkey.
