I personally really like Godzilla's new form. You can tell that after struggling with speed with kong and mecha, he thinned down the waist, extended the arms, and has a similar looking energy to mecha. Heck, look at his pose as he looks over his shoulder. That is the exact pose mecha does, down to the little head shake.

You know why he didn't run in the old ones? Because it was a rubber suit. If they could've made him run back then...at least in the more fantastical ones (probably not the 1954 film in other words) then they would have..

Godzilla the older he gets More Powerful he becomes. The Name is Scar King Controls the First Titan Whose Powers are ice. So Godzilla having that Red pinkish design make sense. Since Kong is the Fighting Scar King So he will Need Godzilla to take care of the First Titan.
