Hope to see more videos coming from you. God bless you. And you r one of the luckiest persons on earth who could make their journey into Himalayas. There is no place on Earth which can be so enchanting & spiritual & peaceful at the same time as Himalayas. Hope you can keep continuing your Holy Journeys into Himalayas.

Hi George.... mesmerised, enchanted, intoxicated...!!! Can't express how deeply moved I am to witness such incredibly captured beauty of the Singali la. I was touched by your tale of a weakening eyesight & then deciding that the best medicine was to treat your eyes to the most beautiful things. I went trekking in a nearby region in 2014 & it was a dream come true. Unfortunately, like you, my eyesight has become crippled & I have developed problems with one foot. These sights beckon me so badly but I wonder if I will ever be able to walk those mountains trails & obscure paths ever again... Your video shooting is just divine! I wish I could do even 1/10th of that. Did you travel there all by yourself? Going back anytime again?
@Moundain6 жыл бұрын
Thank you.. where did you go in 2014. Sorry to hear that. We traveled as a team. We were three trekkers and more than 14 people,,to carry rations and stuff.. one of the trekkers was a doctor from canada who was 65, it was hard for him, but he could do it.
@lookthrumyeyes6 жыл бұрын
Oh! Wow! 65! I think that's enuf inspiration for me to hit it again. I went on trek from Maneybhanjang to Sandakhphu through Chitre, Tumling, Kalipokhri.. Unfortunately family and aged members couldn't walk beyond a certain point and we were forced to go by vehicle for the later part. We trekked back from Sandakhphu to Srikhola through SIngalila Reserve forest. If possible, I'd love to join you should you have any such plans in the future and wouldn't mind me joining :)

So great, thank You! I wanted to do this trek - the other way round- this spring, but couldn't because of the lock down. I was still looking for a trekking partner, since aparently one needs two foreign trekkers to get the permits. I would also love to get your details about the trek and also about Your guide, so I could do it hopefully in spring 2021! Did you do the Annapurna circuit? Or the Tsum Valley - Manaslu Circuit trek! Tsum Valley is also very remote - and, so far - the Chinese road planned over the pass and border hasn't reached it. Once the Chinese road gets there, it will be destroyed in its character, possibly in the next few years.
