Well with grid serve taking over from electric highway. You should find rapid charging easier.They will take a 100kw of power and plugged into morissons supermarket this evening and got enough charge for rest of week in 20mins.

I picked up the kombi a week ago. It's a great van. If you are not doing high mileage on a daily basis It's a fab van and very efficient compared to fuel. On the motorway you can see the remaining miles eating away quickly that is a worry if you was going on holiday or on a long trip. You just have to plan ahead more. There are plenty of apps to find an e charger nearby. There is no way this would be a taxi having been an operator myself it's a non starter. You can't plan customers around charging if they was going to Heathrow Airport. Equally for big families fully laden this won't do much miles. It only suits me as I'm taking the rear seats out for giant breed dogs and trips under 100 miles return. Incidentally the rear seats don't move on a track. Nor to they recline. Apart from that great handling and visibility.

Once these get a real world range of 300-400 miles, ill be very much buying the van version of this. The 75kwh van isn't far off in fairness.

@commuterbranchline81322 жыл бұрын
A fair summary of this very spacious, utilitarian, yet limited people Luger. With the self stated 2.3 miles per KWh, the 45 Kw usable capacity of the battery would just about cover 100 miles between charges, without considering vehicle passenger and luggage load, hills, headwinds and rain. Very very careful planning would be required for motorway trips. Placing the fate of a family summer holiday upon the reliability the public charging network in the U.K. could be described at best as courageous and at worst at complete and utter lunacy. This vehicle would be very useful for any use case that involves short urban journeys.

Why have the psa group reduced the spec on vehicles and offered no compensation
@carolinesarahthompson96902 жыл бұрын
I agree the spec on my kombi is not as described. They changed the name of the model mid order to legally get around this. My main frustration was the rear seats not being on a track that now means I'm removing an entire bench seat so it suits my needs. It's not just this group vehicles everywhere have had the same done to get them off the production line quicker.

Interesting that it’s available on Motability for disabled people

Really easy to drive better for disabled and chargers installed for wheel chair use. Less problems as you don't have to get a petrol attendant. Home charger can be installed to suit disabled drivers condition.

I’ve been looking to get one on Motability as my current lease runs out in April, but no dealers in the East Midlands seem to have them to look at :(
@katpinksherry51512 жыл бұрын
I’m on the Motability scheme with a Shuran which needs to go back next March as I’ll have had it 5 years. The only vehicle on the scheme large enough for my Mobility scooter and hoist is the Vivaro Elite. I’m going tomorrow to place the order; won’t be able to test drive as there are none available in any dealerships. Once another customer’s car arrives I can look at it and sit in it, but I’m stuck otherwise. I’m dreading the switch to electric because my health is so unpredictable I don’t want to be stuck looking for a charging port when I’m unwell and need to get home. Also, my blue badge is effectively useless as no disabled parking bays have charging ports.

Was it the grille blanking panel for the front? There is a panel which clips over the radiator grille to give slightly improved aero - particularly if you do more motorway driving.
